Very Disappointed don't waste your money

I have been waitng for a while to buy this item Wg507 for a few months and after the hurricane Irma hit our Florida area I decided to finally get one to help. I was so excited when it came, I quickly assembled it and ran out front to start my project. I wasn't sure how good it would work so I started small on sme small oak leaves. This thing would only pick up a few smal 1"X1" leaves and only if I put the nozzle ens directly on top of them. It did grind up the few leaves that it did pick up. I went over the tool to make sure I was operating properly and yes, full power, know turned to vacuum, check. I tired a few small berries that fell off the tree. It would appear to pick up 5 or 6 and then fell back out of tube. I can not get this thing back in the box and returned fast enough..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Problem with suction

The blower works great. Almost too good. Had to turn down blowing power to keep from blowing gravel driveway away. But after piling up large amounts of pine needles, I couldn't get them vacuumed up easily. Quicker to rake them and put in bag than it was to try and suck them into bag.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The metal impeller is great for twigs and leaf stems. No worries about breaking a plastic impeller.
The blower is strong and makes leaf blowing a snap.

I bought this with great expectations but an deeply disappointed. ... it's pickup ability is minimal and hardly worth the effort. .... if it wasn't such a pain I would return it as I will most likely never use it again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this about 2 months ago, just in time for the Fall cleanup. Unusual amount of acorns this year so I was concerned about the durability. The metal prop was the ticket for me and it has done great to date. Fortunately, the acorns don't always get sucked up (guess they're too heavy) but the occasional one clunks through. I'm cautious about this as I don't want to damage the unit, but so far it has performed great. The unit becomes a little heavy. The attached bag is not very helpful for this as I am tall enough (5'11'') that I need to stoop when the bag strap is around my shoulder. I found holding the strap in the same hand holding the trivac handle keeps the bag raised. The suction is great; wet and dry leaves are caught up no problem. Long sticks need to be removed from the intake , but I don't want those going in anyway. Mulching is good, but not sure the ratio advertised is accurate. I'm thinking 3-6 to 1. I'll be purchasing the hose attachment in order to fill the can directly as the bag fills relatively quickly. Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase. Side note; the blower is very proficient using the lower speeds to blow leaves from mulch beds and higher for clearing the deck/driveway/lawn, etc.. Only thing left to determine is the durability of the blade. Having to replace it more than once every few years could change my level of satisfaction.

Great tool for anyone

It took me half the time to do what I needed to do. I love having the shavings for my flowers. I am very happy my husband and I made this purchase.
