Great Customer Service!

The plastic blade became very dull after a few years and I could not find replacement parts. I called Worx to ask what I should do and they immediately offered to send out a new unit. It arrived in just a couple of days and had a metal blade instead of plastic. I have other Worx products and will continue to buy from this company. NO HASTLE...just great customer service.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. It is fast and easy. The only thing is that I wish it was cordless. I need a big extension cord and it unplugs when using. I need to get used to it but overall a great product.

I bought the Trivac w/metal mulching system plus the leaf collection because I've had 2 lower back surgeries and some of the NO!, NO are bending, twisting and weight limits. When it came to raking leafs I couldn't do it, so for 2 years leaves laid on my flower beds and along the fence where they piled up and consequences on my grass killing it. The first time I used the combination system I was so amazed of how many leafs I could mulch up into one (1) lawn and leaf bag that would usually take normally at least 10 bags. The leafs were pulverized into little bitty pieces. I do compost so the composting pile was smaller because it didn't have huge leafs taking up space. This is the best thing ever I could do for myself.

Collection Bag Issues

I bought my TRIVAC in November 2013 and did not use it until November 2014. The machine itself is very good: blower, vacuum, and mulching. But, the warranty does not cover the debris collection bag after 6 months from the date of purchase. Nowhere is this stated in any of the documentation (instructions or warranty). Issues with the bag after 6 months are considered "natural wear and tear". Since I did not use my TRIVAC until now, I have no warranty claim. The seam of the bag separated during the first use, and then the bag began to separate from the collar that attaches to the unit. I used fishing line to sew it back together in both places. Be sure to inspect the bag when you first receive the unit and then use the TRIVAC a couple of times during the first 6 months. There was no wear and tear with mine. They would not budge on the 6 month rule but did give me a new bag for 50% off the regular price.

Note: my review is based on pine cones and needles

Verified Purchase:Yes
Read all the reviews before purchasing, and only one or two even mentioned pine needles and pine cones, so I figured it was up to me to find out if it could handle them. It unfortunately doesn't, not for pine cones over three inches or so anyway, and the Ponderosa cones are just a little too big. Most get jammed in the intake tube, and the ones that do make it through are hard on the machine. Not enough pine needles around right now to test, but I suspect their length would be a jam problem too.
I own five or six different Worx tools and am very happy with them all. I'm sure this machine will work well for leaves and small twigs, but I can not recommend it for pine cones and pine needles--which is what my review is based on--hence, the three stars.
(It's also awkward to use with the bag and a bit heavy.)

Absolutely LOVE this machine!

I've previously purchased several other mulch/vac machines in the past - all eventually failed. With plastic expellers that wore down and didn't mulch very well, the motors eventually gave out.
With the metal expeller in this machine, it eats leaves like nothing else, and pulverized them down to nothing! I filled a 96 gallon yard container in no time flat! I highly recommend this machine with the added accessory for filling yard containers. You don't have to stop and empty bags while vacuuming up leaves - just an occasional move of the container! No plastic bags to deal with either!

The equipment is very good, but the bag easily breaks the zipper, I had to buy three and all break easy, so the product does not make sense to buy it. because of the defective zipper all of the bags

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the TRIVAC 2 W/ MULTI-STAGE ALL METAL MULCHING SYSTEM (WG509) which makes blowing and bagging the leaves a breeze. I no longer have to fumble with attachments to change from blowing leaves to mulching leave with just a flick of the switch. I also don't need to worry about it starting like a gas leaf blower. Don't hesitate just buy one. You won't be sorry.
