Solid Tool

Overall works well. I tend to use my other blower ad this one seems a little weak. But the vacuum/mulching is great. I like that I can hold this unit naturally and NOT straight up and down.
I would recommend this to a friend!

First use, I went from 16 bags of leaves last year to just 5 perfectly mulched leaf bags. If you sold a larger vacuum intake unit, I would purchase that as well. Great product.

So easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE the toggle switch for changing from blow to vacuum... it is so much quicker and easier than other blower/vacs I've used that had to have attachments traded out. I like this model so much I'm giving it as Christmas gifts to my family.

After owning several Worx products over the years I expected good quality but I am impressed by the power and really enjoy saving so much time not emptying the bag but about a third as much. It mulches very well.
I am very glad I got this and will order another one for my brother since he saw it and was impressed.

Foiled by a leaf

1. I bought this with the hope of reducing time spent raking. I have two chestnut trees in the back yard. The leaves of the chestnut trees are larger than the opening of the vacuum end of the tri-vac. The tri-vac would simply suck them onto the end like a piece of cardboard or heavy paper. The leaf would block the tri-vac suction and prevent it from functioning.
2. The blower control button needs to be incorporated into the handle like an accelerator pedal. Squeeze harder for more blow. Release for less blow. Similar to a chain-saw. Then when one is blowing and needs to change positions, leaves will not be inadvertently blown.

Easy To Use

Received this two weeks ago. Unit features and functionality are great compared to my prior gas powered unit.
The 18:1 grind ratio may be correct for hickory and white maple leaves but is overstated for pin oak leaves as shown in my photo. The oak leaves are shown in the front of the compost pile. The rear leaves were done by my 30" lawnmower.
For the price and convenience of use, I'd recommend buying this unit.
