Gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product works well, the blower feature leaves plenty to be desired. Not enough power. The mulcher portion does what it is suppose to but takes a long time for big jobs. I could’ve bagged the yard in about the same time.

Bought but no bag was included. Has since been sent to me. Too late in season to use, so not sure how good it will be.

I found it awkward to use

5'2" tall, 65 yo, used to mulch leaves and pine needles from 16 trees, none of which are on my property. It ships in a surprisingly small box, in separate pieces, that quickly and easily assemble together. The bag attaches easily, flipping the lever from blow to mulch is brilliant. First, I didn't find the blowing speed that powerful. The B&D Leaf Hog this is supposed to replace is far more powerful. On the other hand, the B&D is an absolute chore to switch over to mulching. I didn't find it as well balanced as advertised, especially with the bag attached. I couldn't find a comfortable position during use, no matter the bag strap length, no matter over-the-shoulder or cross-body position. When the bag is full, it is weighty. It needs an assist handle on the back motor housing. It mulches extremely well (but I didn't have fine mulch results they present in their videos), with three full bags filling one standard kraft lawn recycling bag to the line. Finally, I don't understand the point of the orange venting thing as it doesn't turn on this model. It is locked in place by plastic molding. I had planned to donate the B&D, but I don't think I can give up its' blowing power.

Much better then what we had

Just received this as it snowed (15"). So, have not had a chance to really put it to work. But, what little I was able to do to test it, I am impressed. I am short so the angled tube makes it so much easier to use then the one we had with a long, straight tube. And, the ease of shifting from blower to vac. with just a push of a lever...and not requiring changing over of tubes & parts, is a dream! Both the blower & vac certainly have enough power. The collection bag comes off & goes on much easier then my other one, also. All in all, I would highly recommend this product. I only gave it a 4-star because we have not really put it to work as yet to see how fine it mulches up all our leaves. BTW, our other blower/vac was also a Worx unit and at 8 yrs old, it still works really well, and never had a problem. This TRIVAC unit is just so much better and easier to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and the metal impeller is a huge improvement over the plastic one which wears out too quickly. Still need to improve the quality of the bag which develops holes too quickly. Also there should be a longer nozzle option for tall people who have to lean over with your standard length vacuum.
