Not great suction

Vacuum portion does not work very well when there are a lot of leaves. Also, the blower is just average.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The blower has a variable speed control that allows you to adjust the speed from 80-210mph. Rotate the orange knob upward to decrease speed and downward to increase speed.
We recommend using the Trivac pointing at a 45-degree angle versus directly towards the ground.

easy to switch from vac to blower

I purchased the trivac to clean up yard and it does a great job , after I clean out gutters with the blower it takes all leaves up 10 to one bags is great !

Love the metal mulch

Gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lots of blower/vacs near this price point are only effective in ideal dry conditions but this machine does not need perfectly dry ground to be effective. It is able to suck up & mulch dry leaves easily. Wet leaves that clump together are harder on the motor but the impeller blades have been able to handle it when it happens. I'm impressed how the Trivac manages twigs but it is not meant for woody jobs where a chipper is more appropriate. The variable speed blower has enough power to move leaves across damp ground but can be controlled to be gentle around plants. The angled nose makes it more comfortable to operate. I bought this machine to save time on the acre of yard we have. It has been a good investment so far.

THE BLOWER IS NICE BECAUSE OF THE VARIBLE SPEEDS. THE VAC WORKS WELL ON BOTH SMALL AND LARGE YARD JOBS. The only complaint is that the bag's zipper has a 2 inch separation from the bag.. It was like this upon arrival.

I had manually raked 8 lawn bags of leaves and the TRIVAC reduced it to 3 bags.
