It's OK

Worth having but does not blow as well as the Toro electric blower that I already had. I believe the design is flawed here because the actual blower tube is not as long as the vacuum tube so it reduces it's effectiveness as a blower.
As far as the vacuum goes, it works pretty well as long as you're picking up small to medium size leaves (think ash, oak, maple, etc.). For sycamore leaves it doesn't work well at all due to their size.
I'm not sorry I bought it, but it now augments the blower that I had hoped to replace.
The fact that you don't have to take it apart to switch from blower to vacuum is what sold it, but it ultimately is what creates its shortfalls.
I would recommend it, with the qualifying statements above.

The blower has a variable speed control that allows you to adjust the speed from 80-210mph. Rotate the orange knob to decrease speed and to increase speed.

2 stage mulching is great. I like the ability to change fromblow to suck with a lever, and not have to change/move the tubs. Unit is a little heavy, and the strap for the the bagging unit is awkward.
2 items need addressed.
1: the spring clip. instinct made me pull instead of push in to release the bag, and it easily fell apart. (went back together ok though).

2: The male plug socket is too small. I replaced the female end of a extension cord with 15 amp off shelf 3 prong grounding unit, but the cord end will not fit into the male plug. I had get a ground adapter plug and cut the grounding lug off so It will connect.

I started to use the blower mulcher on dry leaves. So far it works well and is powerful enough to blow the leaves against the fence and then get mulched. It does not grind up large pieces of mulch that get stuck in the mulcher blade. I hope it does not fracture the casting or burn out the motor. It does not pick up the river rock I have in my yard which the leaves are covering. It is yet to determine what will happen with the mulch.

We bought the unit from seeing it on a commercial. Haven't had extensive use yet as the weather has not yet been good enough to get the leaves picked up.
Through unit was very easy to assemble. The way it was packaged made it easier to walk through.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been watching the commercials for a while, and this year I decided to give myself a Christmas present. I love it. I took it out the box and without reading directions I was able to assemble easily and immediately put it to use. Very powerful and lightweight. Stable and balanced in my hand. I like it alot.
