I BOUGHT THE WORX PRODUCT ABOUT 5 WEEKS AGO AND HAVE USED IT ABOUT 5 TIMES. IT HAS GOOD BLOWING AND SUCTION POWER. IT WAS HEAVIER THAN I THOUGHT, CAUSE MY RIGHT ARM HURT FOR 2 DAYS,BUT AFTER I KEPT USING IT,MY ARM GOT USE TO IT. AFTER USING IT AFTER THE 5TH TIME THE BAG STARTED RIPPING AT THE SEAM. I CALLED WORX COMPANY AND THEY IMMEDIATELY SENT ME ANOTHER NEW BAG OUT TO ME.IT MADE MY RAKING ALOT EASIER AND FASTER,NO MORE PICKING UP LEAVES.

Great machine

Bought this machine to help me with my maple leaves. I really like being able to switch from blower to vacuum in one easy flip of the switch. I have two things that I'm a little disappointed about. First, the on/off switch is really hard to use. It's very stiff and hard for me, a woman, to use it. Maybe it will get better with time. The other thing that is hard for me is the shoulder strap for the bag. I'm 5'4" and the bag will not stay on my shoulder. I tried putting it across my body, which helped a little. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. It does what I need it too and is wonderful for vacuuming up leaves in my outdoor stairwell. Can't go wrong with a WORX product.

I found the item worked as advertised. I like the idea that you can switch from blowing to pick-up with the flip of a switch. Most other brands are much more complicated. Clogging is very infrequent. I blew my leaves against a fence and building and to pick-up the leaves I had to maneuver between some bushes and the fence. This was somewhat cumbersome because of the size of the unit with bag attached. Also, it was rather heavy and that presented a problem and limited the amount of time I could work on pick-up.

Great leaf blower, not much for mulching

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and I find its leaf blowing function to be excellent. It can easily move dirt, leaves, and small rocks from the crevices of my trees roots that are above ground. But there isn't much use for the mulching. It might be ok if you only mulch one leaf at a time because several leaves just block up the chute. Of course sucking up one leaf at a time would take forever, its much easier and tremendously faster to just scoop leave up with your hand and a rake. I also vacuumed up a twig that got stuck in the rotor. The motor stopped abrubtly and I had to hurry and turn the unit off. I could smell the burning motor. After unplugging it, I used a screw driver like a hammer to get the twig unstuck. Luckily, it still worked. Long story short, the leaf blower is excellent, but the vacuum is worthless. And no, it doesn't pick up rocks, nor would you want to. As far as I know, you can't turn off the metal rotor.

I am not as happy with this TRIVAC tool as I have been with other WORX tools. Did not seem to have the suction that the infomercials seem to show.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Some Caveats......Working out the kinks.

I bought this machine a couple of weeks ago. One thing I earned is that you need to pick up the leaves right away. If they dry up and curl onto grass the blower is no good to you. You then have to rake into a pile then vac them up and mulch. It does save on garbage bags. Mulches very good. Also, if the leaves get wet they stick like glue to the grass. You have to rake into a pile then vac and mulch. Moral to the story is get to the leaves as soon as possible and the machine will make your life much easier. Before I forget they need to make the strap on the bag adjustable. Not everyone is the same height. That was really the only design flaw I could find.
