I bought this a month ago and have used it a half a dozen times. It works absolutely great, and very easy to handle. Superior to any of the gas powered units I have owned in the past. The 20 V heavy duty battery packs recharge quickly and save the hassle of two cycle gasoline mixtures and the constant pulling of a rope when the carburetors foul out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lighter than gas powered and much easier to use - Great purchase! I also have the 9 inch Worx saw what a work horse so light!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already have the nitro trimmer that does a great job. I first used this saw to cut a dead oak tree and it easily went thru 14 inch logs. and the batteries lasted longer than me.

Love this chainsaw

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He opened it got it all ready to go .. didn't take long to charge with the dual charger I got him too. once charged he started it right up ... "In The Living Room!"
He then took it outside as we had just had a tree come down in a recent wind storm.
It worked amazingly well. He loves the batteries. Said the handling was excellent.
I'm happy. He's happy. Now he can get rid of his gasoline saw that took him three days last year to get it running.
Purchasing was easy plus it came a week early!
I will be purchasing more tools. I love the reliability reviews I read.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect for small to medium tree clearing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was perfect for clearing small to medium size trees (up to 10" diameter) with a breeze. Powerful enough to cut through without stopping/starting issues at all. Battery will last for up to 35-40 minutes without issues.

Hello Valued Customer. One way to help alleviate the issue is to take the bar and chain off of the tool, then reassemble it to make sure it is tightly in place. After you place the bar and chain on the tool, pull the bar outwards (away from the motor) and then start twisting the auto tension knob. As you tighten the knob, lift the tip of the bar at a slight upwards angle.
Once fully tightened, let go of the bar and check the tension in the chain. Tipping the bar at an upward angle as you tighten it allows for added tension and typically resolves any issues with the chain popping off. I will also send you an email with additional troubleshooting steps, just in case, this does not solve it for you.
