Works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chainsaw is great. We used it for some moderate jobs around the yard. I recommend reading the manual before using as tightening the chain is very important! It cut through very thick trees and a big bushes. I highly recommend this chainsaw.

Pleasantly surprised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 40v Power Share 16” cordless chainsaw definitely gets the job done. Husband was out searching for even more things to chop down. It’s quieter than our normal gasoline saw and had lots of power. Great that it’s ready in an instant, is lighter than a gas powered saw, and cuts just as strong. This thing saws like butter right through stumps and branches. Clean and fast cuts. We were pleasantly surprised that it was much quicker than anticipated. This is a powerful and long lasting saw, we were able to cut a ton of 8" logs and it still was running strong.
It took about an hour to charge the batteries but well worth the wait, the ease of cutting with this saw is incredible. It has a battery meter which shows the overall charge of both batteries together so you’ll know before you get stuck in the middle of a sawing a branch.
The chain brake works impeccable, and the chain is tightened unlike our previous saw and it has an automatic lubricator.
The best part for me, is the simple start, it’s not tough to get going with the trigger & we’re ready to go, unlike having to pull many times to get started and it's more lightweight than a gas powered saw.
We’re totally looking into the other Worxs tools from here on out, this saves us money on not having to buy gas/oil and the ease of use just can't be beat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this as soon as I received it to cut down an out-of-control palm tree next to my house. I had a little trouble getting the chain to stay on, but when I re-read the directions, it was clear that I'd not followed them correctly. After I fixed my mistake, it worked great! I'm so glad I went with this chainsaw.

Love this chainsaw

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He opened it got it all ready to go .. didn't take long to charge with the dual charger I got him too. once charged he started it right up ... "In The Living Room!"
He then took it outside as we had just had a tree come down in a recent wind storm.
It worked amazingly well. He loves the batteries. Said the handling was excellent.
I'm happy. He's happy. Now he can get rid of his gasoline saw that took him three days last year to get it running.
Purchasing was easy plus it came a week early!
I will be purchasing more tools. I love the reliability reviews I read.
I would recommend this to a friend!

chain comes of all the time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this chain saw awhile back and didn't have a chance to use it until the other day. The chain came off right away. After successfully reattaching the chain to the bar we started using it again. Several minutes later it came off again. Went to the house and got my 12 inch chain saw. Perfect! another complaint I have is this saw takes two 20 volt batteries. My 12 inch takes one 40 volt battery, making the new saw heavier.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great addition to my saws

I was pleasantly surprised at its power and runtime before recharging. We like it so much that we bought a second one immediately so now we have a spare set of batteries and. Backup saw. Easily cuts a 12-14” tree! I will only use my gas saws on large trees now. Brushless motor and adjustable chain tightening just another added perk. Absolutely love it
