Best tool ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No more climbing the ladder to cut a limb. Best tool ever. Beautifully made, quality beyond compare. Run time is a bit short but that's ok with me it gets the job done. I like that the saw comes off the pole for limb cutting on the ground. Will be great for firewood cutting.

It’s functional

Beware, it’s heavy with the extension on. It’s far too heavy with the extension all the way extended. Saw alone is great but lacks power however With a sharp chain it does the job. Prolly my least favorite word tool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was great in the beginning, but after a few uses, the chain needed to be replaced as it got dull. the chain also constantly comes off.

Hello there!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review! We greatly appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us a better understanding of where we need to improve.

Try taking the cover off, put the new chain around the bar, making sure that the links mirror the little image on the tip of the bar (to make sure the links are going in the right direction) place the chain around the sprocket and seat the bar in place. hold the tip of the bar outwards and at a slightly upward angle put the cover back on and tighten it in place, while continuing to hold the bar outwards and at an upward angle, to remove any slack tighten it all the way.

By holding the bar outwards while putting it on, will remove extra slack. Tipping the tip of the bar upwards helps improve the tension, which means fewer issues with the chain coming off.

Works amazing especially on softer woods.

Works just amazing with one tiny downside. The chain does like to come off easier than I'd like, but it's also really easy to put back on. So far I've cut 6-8" birch trees (didn't fell them with it but did cut a few lengths once down) and smaller limbs of various wood types. Just let it eat on its own and it goes great.

Very safe to use. Cut down a small tree, 10 inch diameter with no problems. Make sure chain is adjusted properly

Not the best option for chainsaw
on August 5, 2022

I purchased this to cut (4 to 6 inch diameter) off Chinese Elm trees growing along a dry creek bed by my house. First problem is oil leaks out of it no matter what direction you store it so you can't store it with oil in it. I was told by customer service I would need to empty the oil reservoir each time I use it or store on a towel. Who wants to go through all that every time you want to cut a couple of branches? Not me. Second problem is the balance is awful when trying to use the pole feature to reach higher branches. I am a female with average upper body strength. It is impossible to use the pole fully extended. This is not the best option for a battery powered chainsaw and I am disappointed in it's performance. Had I known oil would leak everywhere no matter how it was stored I wouldn't have purchased it. Worx usually makes good tools. This is definitely one of their worst.

Hello Valued Customer,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review! We greatly appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us a better understanding of where we need to improve. It's unfortunate to learn about the experience you had with our product. Know that this is not what we expect from our products.

With a saw designed to self-lubricate during operation, a little oil leakage is normal. To help minimize and prevent leakage, we recommend the following:

-Use only enough oil for the task at hand.

-Remove oil cap and immediately replace it after operation to vent the oil tank. This relieves any accumulated pressure during the oiling process.

-Allow the saw to cool down before storing.

-Wipe down the saw sprocket area.

-Remove oil from saw before storage.

-Store the saw horizontally when not in use.

I love the chain saw but it is a little heavy for me when trying to reach branches in the trees. I would still recommend it.

Light weight saw, with and without pole attached.

Purchased a month ago. Being 74 years old, this saw is light weight and easy to use. My arms don't get tired as fast using this saw. Works great when you have 3-4" diameter branches that need trimming. Makes trimming a tree easier than those gas powered chainsaws.
