Chordless Polesaw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I expected it to have as much power as the Worx chorded trimmer that I have, but was disappointed that it did not. I was happy to not have a chord pulling against me as I reached to the higher branches. But the RPM's seem slower so my arms were essentially above my head for a longer period of time. So the benefits kind of break even between the pro's and the con's...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great combo saw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mainly for the pole saw part, but find myself using the standalone chain saw just as much. The product did NOT come with any bar and chain oil so I had to go out and buy that separately, but it would have been nice to get a trial size.

I’m very pleased with the unit. Buzzed through some high branches with ease, then detached the pole and used the chainsaw to cut up the branches...all on one battery with power to spare.

just got this, so haven't used it much. Like it but the battery needs to be the bigger size as it doesn't last very long. they said it will get some better the more times it is charged or will need to get the 4ah or 6ah battery. Works good and isn't too heavy, haven't used the pole yet.

I bought the claw saw as I call it and my boyfriend mentioned how this one would be good for trimming a big tree in the back yard. He loves it!

Not Outstanding

Bought this to trim a few smaller branches on my tree. I was excited when it arrived; however, after using it yesterday, I'm not as excited. It didn't seem to want to cut through smaller branches about 2" diameter. It just doesn't have the power to do the job I was expecting it to do. Chain came off on second cut. Disappointed because I love all my other WORX equipment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is recommended that you tension the chain every 4-5 cuts. Depending on the type of wood being cut, the heat that is produced can cause the chain to stretch. To tension the chain, simply secure it around the sprocket and bar so that the chain is seated then pull the bar forward (outward) to create a snug fit. The chain should be tight enough to fit securely around the bar while leaving appropriate give for tensioning. Take caution that you do not overtighten the chain. We also recommend checking to make sure the chain is on correctly.

This Worx 10ft cordless chainsaw is so versitle.I can use it in my hands or on the 10 ft pole and reach very far.It makes a goid clean cut and does everything you expect a good chainsaw to do.Best tool purchase I ever made!
