I bought this recently to trim down a dying tree in my yard. We were quoted close to a thousand bucks for a professional trimmer and we saw this on Worx.com and decided to give it a try. Needless to say, it is so well worth the price. It is a perfectly engineered tool and there were no long extension cords to carry around. We used it to trim the tree down to the stump and were amazed at how effortlessly this trimmed through the branches and tree trunk. It is well worth its price many times over!

exactly what I needed for the task

Had a barrier hedge encroaching on my sidewalk. Some of the branches were too high and thick for lopping tool. The pole saw was perfect to cut the high limbs and of course the low ones without the pole attached. The 10 inch saw is perfect for light duty limbing and trimming.

We are cleaning up 1.4 wooded acres. I have dropped 100+ trees and trimmed/topped many more. A neighbor loaned me a manual pole saw. It was exhausting. This pole chainsaw made the job much easier!!! The only downside is the weight, but it is a CHAINSAW and a light chainsaw at that. I love it and I am glad we bought it.

Longest running time ever!

Bought this saw kit five weeks ago and I can't say enough good things about it! The run time is outstanding and the auto tensioner is grand! I have cut for over 30 minutes and the saw keeps running. I also like the battery stays running dfull out until it is depleted. No more slower and slower cutting! I would recommend this outfit to all who have trees to trim or bushes to cut back from time to time! The battery is fast charging for the run time, too! The whole thing is light weight, also!

Perfect little chainsaw

I own several other Worx products and was looking for a battery operated chainsaw for light-medium duty. This suits my needs. I was a little worried 20v would make it under power but it performs great. I tested it out on some 6in branches and it went through like butter. Of course it's a brand new so the chain is sharp .The motor never slowed or whined like it was struggling. The design is so simple that even I could take the chain off and on and get it right every time. Super easy to work with. Put oil in the reservoir and make sure the chain is at the correct tension by turning the tension knob...1/4in lift or play max. You can't over tighten it...the knob will only turn until it's as tight as it can get by hand.To my surprise it uses very little oil. For all the cutting I did it still had 3/4 of oil left. I experience no kick-back letting mainly the saw weight do the cutting with a gentle pressure by my hands to help it along faster.
This is not a dangerous saw though you still need to exercise caution and obey the instructions of what not to do. Most is common sense. I have not used the extension pole yet but will asap. If you need a lighter easy to run chainsaw this is it. No tools needed and basically idiot proof.
