Just the right extended chainsaw

I bought this chainsaw for its portability in trimming branches that would hamper my bow shot while hunting out of a treestand.

Good too, but hard to balance.

I bought this a month ago and my first usage of it was positive. However it's hard to pull the trigger handle and balance a10 pound weight on the other end while cutting the limbs . It does make the job quick though.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not bad for the price but as a stand alone chain saw it is under powered and as a pole saw it is top heavy and under powered.
I'm still glad I bought it. For trimming small branches away from the roof of my house it is fine, but that is about it. I have a pole saw attachment for my "weed whip" and it is has far more power, since it is gas powered. It is short though, and not as stable as the handle on this unit.
If you have light work to do with it ten or twelve feet above ground level it can be useful. Maybe if you want a first chain saw for a tween it could be useful, but other than that... I honestly don't know what it would be good for.

Leaks Oil

Works great but leaks oil when setting & not in use. Top heavy for me & battery wears out fairly fast.

To prevent the tool from leaking we would recommend venting the oil cap slightly if the chainsaw still has oil or completely draining the tool of the oil when not in use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this with the Jaw Saw. Using it to cut down a tree that I had planted years back. Works great. Awkward when you use the pole but it serves the purpose I bought it for. It is top heavy but understandable. Wish the saw was a little longer.

works like a champ!

I bought this a few weeks ago because I wanted to remove low hanging limbs from 2 dozen white pine trees. Most limbs were 2-4 inches diameter and it worked beautifully. Easy to assemble and simple to use. An added bonus is the ability to remove the chain saw from the pole which I did to take down a dead wild cherry tree of about 5 inches diameter. Only one minor drawback is when the saw is on the pole it is difficult to see where the chain is on a branch because of the saw handle and hand guard if you are right handed.
I would recommend this to a friend!
