I bought this set up a few years back and have used it on many occasions. Very easy to use and if you have other 20V tools, battery life is not an issue even with a heavy workload. Best of all, you don't need to worry about stale gas mix, it's always ready to go. While I am satisfied with my purchase and with the tool in general, I do need to point out 2 items that others may want to consider. 1) The saw is light. This means that the weight of the saw is not present to keep the blade on the branch, you have to add some force to work the saw into the wood. 2) After some use, the friction locks on the pole slip and the pole will slowly collapse while you're working with it. There does not appear to be any way to tighten the locking mechanism. That's just plain annoying, and why I can't give it a 5 star rating.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For any small, quick cutting jobs -- or overhead trimming jobs -- this is the tool to get the job done. Very surprising how long one battery charge will last using this saw! It certainly is more convenient than firing up the gas-powered chain saw! 5 stars!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been cutting dead limbs off my trees. Then was helping to clear a farm. I use Worx Nitro 16" chainsaws. And when you cut thorns (18') or hedges that haven't been cut for over 3 decades, you get scratches or bleeding. Decided why not use the pole/chainsaw. Reach under the limbs or thorns and just cut it down from 9' away. Now you can just move it away, once it cuts and falls over. So pole/chainsaw are for higher limbs, but now you know how to use it to keep from getting scratches, ticks, bleeding and torn shirts and pants.
I'm a 72 year old woman who loves this Chain Saw! I live on a farm by myself and am constantly using my saw to cut limbs, trim brush and cut up trees that have blown over. I have used gas motor saws in the past and this one is far superior for weight and ease of use. I have used it for over a year, cut up some pretty big stuff and the chain is amazing still very sharp. I bought it to trim limbs up high but I found the saw a little to heavy for me to use as a pole saw. But I'm very Happy with chainsaw and would recommend it to anyone for easy use and reliability. I have other Worx tool that I'm super happy with also great products and great price.
Pole Saw assembles extremely easy, love the way it can be broken down for use a hand held chain saw. I have a gas powered chain saw but will grab this one first since all you have to do is slip the battery on and you're ready to go. No finding the right gas, many pulls of the rope to start. Just push the switch and go. Used it for about an hour after I fully charged the battery, never saw a loss of torque during use and still had 2 lights left on the gas gauge. Well designed and quality build, same as all Worx tools I have bought.
