Love this chainsaw, very handy with the extension!

I bought this last year to help in taking down my grandmother's 30' sugar maple. While waiting for my uncle to show up with his bigger gas-powered chainsaw, I took down about 85% of the tree (the trunk was too big for the 10"). Great tool, and very versatile with the powershare system and the extension... couldn't be happier!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the pole saw to trim branches from contacting my roof shingles. The modular system allowed me to use the saw without the pole to cut up branches on the ground. Plenty of power for the job.

Love the tension control

I bought this chain saw and pole after looking at a Stihl cordless 16inch saw. I have lots of other work products and decided to give the saw a try. I am very happy with the saw. It does just what I expected and have extra batteries if I need one. Very happy with the product

Can't keep the chain on

If I were able tp get the chain to stay on I would be in love. But I put it up in the first six months I had it. I have brought it out of the closet and for the life of me have never seen this with any chainsaw. I have had to bring out my MS290 with 20" bar and that is not a good thing and really can be unsafe so yeah 2 years of disappointent
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your experience and review! When the chain comes off the unit, that is a indication the chain is not on the tool correctly. When you place the chain around the chain bar, please ensure the chain is going in the grove correct ( as in picture A2) in your manual. Then place the chain bar back on the unit and with the extra chain go around the sprocket, and then pull the chain bar forward (with one hand) & place cover back on unit tightening the chain with saw. Please check your email, as I have contacted you offline for further assistance.
