Handy Pole Saw

Snow has finally melted enough to get out and test the new 10" cordless pole saw. I whacked off a number of branches, the largest an ash limb about 2.5" in diameter, with no problem. The saw worked fine and after the half hour of intermittent use the battery still indicated 2 (of 3) bars of charge. It is suitable for light homeowner use but would not be my choice if clearing a long ski trail or large heavy branches. When the pole is extended to its full length it gets springy so reaching the tallest branches takes some effort. I am happy with the purchase.

Great little pole saw

I ordered this saw just before the winter storm here in central Texas. Came in really handy after some branches broke due to ice and snow. Worked great.

Good Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This did a pretty good job on my tree. It was a little heavy when you have it extended all the way out and was hard to see the bar to put it on the limb you are trying to cut. I needed the longer bar but it worked great.

RECENTLY PURCHASED OUR CORDLESS POLE/CHAIN SAW FOR A CLEARING PROJECT. WE HAD APPROX. 6" TREES IN THE WOODS BEHIND OUR FENCE, THAT NEEDED TO BE CLEARED OUT. THIS SAW WORKED LIKE A DREAM! CUT THROUGH ALL THE ITEMS THAT NEEDED TO BE REMOVED LIKE BUTTER. WOULD DEFINITLY RECOMMEND THIS CHAINSAW TO ANYBODY!! HANDLED VERY EASILY, EVEN IN TOUGH SPOTS. CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THE WEIGHT...MADE THE JOB FUN.

Great for the price

Its use the chain oil very efficiently. Only one thing that I do like like to use the saw without the extension due to vibration, lack of RMP. The battery was surprise as well. i last longer that I thought .

Two in one!

I have the works battery powered chain saw and it works so well I decided to buy this electric pole saw. I haven't used it yet but assembled it, powered it up and am ready to trim up all my trees! I have an old fashioned pole saw that gets stuck while cutting branches due to the nature of the way it's used. This electric pole saw will eliminate the downfalls of the manual type!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Saw, But Very Top Heavy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in the fall to help with tree pruning around our property. I would have given this equipment 5 stars, but unfortunately I do not have the upper body strength to hold the saw upright with the extension pole and can not use it to prune as I had intended. However, I can use the chainsaw and I absolutely love it! We own ~5 acres of woods and have been doing a lot of clearing for trails, and harvesting of fire wood. This chainsaw makes it easy for me to participate with my husband in that activity without the annoying loudness and vibration of a gas powered chainsaw. I have used it to cut through probably up to 5" diameter trees and branches pretty easily. I love this saw and hope that in the future I will be able to use it with the extension pole as intended.
