Feels good in your hands when used without the pole.
Cut through 3" & 4" branches like butter.
When on the pole work well to get the reach needed.
Would have been nice if the saw could rotate at the end of the pole to help stay on top of the limbs as you cutting them.
Did get a little end heavy when extended all the way out.
All in all a great pole saw that made it very easy to get branches removed form multiple locations around the yard.

good tool

the saw works will but for the chain does come off very easy but you can saw a lot of wood with 2 ah batt. if the worx saw chain is the only stay on longer I would be so happy with this tool.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank's for sharing this with us. I'm sorry to hear about the troubles with the chain coming off. It is recommended that you tension the chain every 4-5 cuts. Depending on the type of wood being cut, the heat that is produced can cause the chain to stretch. To tension the chain, simply secure it around the sprocket and bar so that the chain is seated then pull the bar forward (outward) to create a snug fit. The chain should be tight enough to fit securely around the bar while leaving appropriate give for tensioning. Take caution that you do not overtighten the chain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this with the Jaw Saw. Using it to cut down a tree that I had planted years back. Works great. Awkward when you use the pole but it serves the purpose I bought it for. It is top heavy but understandable. Wish the saw was a little longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not bad for the price but as a stand alone chain saw it is under powered and as a pole saw it is top heavy and under powered.
I'm still glad I bought it. For trimming small branches away from the roof of my house it is fine, but that is about it. I have a pole saw attachment for my "weed whip" and it is has far more power, since it is gas powered. It is short though, and not as stable as the handle on this unit.
If you have light work to do with it ten or twelve feet above ground level it can be useful. Maybe if you want a first chain saw for a tween it could be useful, but other than that... I honestly don't know what it would be good for.

I bought this a month ago and my first usage of it was positive. However it's hard to pull the trigger handle and balance a10 pound weight on the other end while cutting the limbs . It does make the job quick though.
I would recommend this to a friend!
