Why does the 8” pole saw come with a handle while the 10” heavier one does not?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Valued Worx Customer! Thank you for sharing your experience and review! The 10" chainsaw may be purchased as just a chainsaw WG322 or as a chainsaw and pole, WG323. Should you wish to leave us with additional feedback or have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact our Solution Center Team at 866-354-9679 Monday through Friday from 9 am until 6 pm EST. We'd be more than happy to assist you.
We bought this in late April. We have not used the extension handle yet, but the saw itself works great. We are elderly, and not sure if we are going to be able to use the extension arm, and be able to control the weight of the saw.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchase cordless pole saw to replace electric that broke. The electric pole saw became to heavy to place in the trees for trimming and broke. Seen add on web site for cordless 20 volt pole saw combo.Since I own 20 volt system tools I was going to give the pole saw a try. With this pole saw you can cut large branches down and disconnect the 10 inch chain saw from the pole and cut down larger branches on the ground safely. The 20 volt battery held a charge for the cut down of 7 6inch branches and numerous others for 25 minutes. the best thing about this combo pole saw is CONVINCEOUS of NO DRAGGING A CORD AROUND & MIXING GAS FOR GAS POWERED POLE SAW. Take the 10 inch saw off the pole for small cutting tasks and once they are separated storage is simpler.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this saw for about 2 years and it has worked in ice storms to clear driveways and in everyday use for firewood. Just an all around great saw. I have used it a lot and only had to replace the chain. No problems.no hassle.no mess, just dependability. Great saw!!!!
I was wary of the smaller 20V battery as my other Worx tools have 32V. My first test was 14” twisted willow overhanging a walking path. It took only 9 cuts to drain a charged battery even with light pressure. Then 5+ hours to fully charge it again. Works much better on smaller limbs of course. Larger battery is on order.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tool to cut some tree limbs that were hanging over my church's rental property. Got the job done and extended my reach tremendously. Also, used the chainsaw to cut some trees at a church community service event and it surprised all the brothers about how powerful this little chainsaw really is. Even good to teach teenagers and beginners on how to use a chainsaw.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had an ice storm here this winter and I have several big trees with broken branches, many which were still stuck in the trees. I'm 67 years old and have bad shoulders, my other pole saw was just to heavy for me to handle those high branches. The worx 10" pole saw is light enough and long enough for me to reach those high branches and cut though them easily.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in the middle of a state forrest, we constantly have a need for limb or downed wood removal. This will handle the bulk of our needs. Had some issues with ordering and the customer service rep was fantastic. Thanks for the help and the whole battery line is holding up well with this our 7th, 20 volt tool.
