Reliable and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not have a lot of wood that I need to cut, but when I do it is nice to have a chainsaw that can handle the workload and I know it's reliable and ready to use when I need it.

I purchased this for my husband for Christmas and it is so easy to handle that I can even use it. I have purchased may things from WORX for him and we have always been satisfied!

I have several WORX tools

I love to work with these products because they are very reliable. I currently ran into a bind, though. I need to replace the sprocket gear, but have not been able to find it. Can someone help me with this? The part number is PA66 GF50. Thanks

nice electric saw

I have'nt gotten to cut any trees up yet but so far i am very pleased with this 15amp 18" saw.Seems to have the power with no excess noise or vibration.

Can’t get oiler to work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received the saw, the bar was installed upside down. That was easy enough to swap around. Before first use I filled the oil tank with Husqvarna all weather bar and chain oil, I tried running the saw with the tip pointed down at some cardboard to check oiling. There was no oil mist at all on the cardboard. I ran it for a couple minutes and nothing. I then manually oiled the bar and chain to cut up a log. Saw worked good. It just seems like a pain to have to manually oil the bar and chain on a brand new saw.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not built to last

I had the saw for several years, but only used it about 10 to 12 times before the plastic drive gear stripped making the saw unusable ind unrepairable. Metal gear (and replaceable) would be a better choice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worked Great in the Three Hours Before it Died

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This saw worked great for a little over three hours. It sliced and diced some moderately sized libs and trunks (12-17") then up and died. I couldn't be more disappointed. I was set to brag to all my friends and family who exclusively use gas powered saws, and then my WORX saw stopped working, proving them right. Now, all the "I told you so"s are pouring in.
