Great tool light and cuts very easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE THIS CHAINSAW IT IS LIGHT AND EASY TO HANDLE CUTS EASY AND EASY TO MAINTAIN THE POWER IS LIKE HAVING A GAS CHAINSAW.MY FIRST ELETRIC CHAINSAW.

Great yard tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this tool to ease the effort associated with some planned tree work. I did not want to create a lot of noise nor mess with gas. The use of the corded chainsaw takes some planning to keep the trailing cord in the proper position in the work area but once that is sorted this tool does a great job of quickly cutting through limbs and trunks with a minimum of noise, vibration, and weight. Very happy with the performance of the saw and easy adjustment features.

I am disappointed

I bought this to heavily prune bushes, but it was close to disaster. The chain kept coming off and it took me over five miutes to put it back on. I was cutting for around a minute and therefore spending more time putting the chain on then actually pruning. For that minute it did a good job. I suggest doing away with the automatic chain adjustment. It complicates everything and I never had a problem keeping the chain adjusted on any of my other chain saws.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Occasional Home Use

Had it now for 2 years - about 10 uses. Runs well. I've gone through two chains now, but that's to be expected. Very simple to change them out. For the money, and if your use is withing field goal distance from an electric receptacle, it's the only way to go for 5" and unter cuts. Larger cuts OK as well, just more of a load on the saw.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works great until!

The saw does a good job until the brushes wear out and you find they don't sell replacement brushes. Then your only optin is to junk it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
