I received this chainsaw in the mail yesterday and couldn't wait to try it out.
I rolled over a log about 16" diameter and had no problem at all cutting right through it!
As with all the products I have purchased, I am very happy with the chainsaw!
Now I can clean up the tree limbs around the yard with ease, and have a nice wood pile for next winter season.

I just bought 2 weeks ago through online,and used it two days ago!. it was shock me how fast I cut my trees. Excellent result, fast and clean. I recommend to anybody!

Bought in April to do some light tree trimming. My wife passed April 24. 2016. . I opened the box , read instructions , added bar oil put cap back on . Plugged the the 12/3 extension cord to carry the power load as instructed in manual. HIT power trigger nothing would start and repeated tree times . Checked power supply and everything was okay. Very unhappy and product is a piece junk.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the first electric chain saw I've ever owned and it's been great so far! I've put quite a few hours on it already and it's taken down some good size trees with no difficulty at all. I would definitely recommend and may buy another one!

Will not turn on.

Bought in May 2019, have not needed it until recently. The saw will not turn on. Don't wast your money like I did.Will not buy another Worx product.

Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback and review with us! There is a safety mechanism that has to be disengaged before the chainsaw will start. It is called the Chain Stop Lever (the lever in front of your hand). Push the Chain Stop Lever (Hand Guard) forwards to start the chainsaw in conjunction with depressing the on/off switch. I bought this chainsaw used 4 days of vacation time.
Went to property to trim trees
Big waste of time and money unit was defective right out of box!
Looks nice seems well built but yea With no way to get another saw in time Worx really cost me much more than the price of saw!

I purchased the Worxx 18" chainsaw because it was a 15 amp tool, to enable my cutting of guided boards and slices from mid-sized logs. Its performace and features are not much short of amazing. One minor criticism is that the narrow (anti-kickback) bar's one drawback is that it is deflected by wood grain more easily than firmer, larger bars, and its tip tends to bend and wander on full-bar cuts, even when guided. The chain is very satisfactory; the chain tightening system is superb, and the little saw is quite powerful in performing what is demanded of it! Worth the money? Absolutely!
