I needed to clear out some live and dead trees in front of my house. I wanted something light weight. This chainsaw was so much fun to use.

Quiet and enough power for simple work

I would still use a gas powered saw for any large work, plus you have do deal with the electric cord. However, for around the house in the city it is much more quiet. The chain tightening system works and is a nice idea, however I'm not a fan of the large knob sticking out. There are times where it got in my way for some real close trimming work. Changing the chain out is very easy.
It's well built. Actually heavier than I thought it was going to be. Balance is fair. Price point is worth it.

I work it hard

After finding the right tension for the chain, (took a few hrs). And finding the right cord plug that fits snugly. (Heavy duty cord). This saw is excellent. 24" diameter trees are not a problem for this saw. I've cut down 3 oak trees, cut logs 18" long and still going strong. Fill the oil, plug it in and it does what I need it to do.
