This chainsaw is horrible

My wife bought this chainsaw to replace our craftsman 10" battery operated chainsaw that broke after 6 years of use. This saw is horrible. Battery dies after 15 minutes of use. Chain lube leaks out during storage. Saw does not have enough power to keep chain going and stalls. I had several other worx products and this one has been very poor. The craftsman would absolutely run circles around this tool.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To help minimize and prevent leakage, we recommend removing the oil cap and immediately replacing it after operation to vent the oil tank and storing the saw horizontally when not in use. The 2.0 Ah batteries average about 20 minutes of run-time. We do have high capacity batteries that will double the run-time on your tools. I bought this tool for my sister because she wanted something light weight. She absolutely loves it. It's fast and stays charged to finish all her projects!!

Not happy with Purchase

I bought this with HIGH hopes - I have loved my other WORX items I have purchased. Very east to assemble, but I cut two limbs and the chain came off and WILL NOT stay on - I put it back on try and start and the chain comes right back off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Greetings from Worx! Thank you for sharing your experience and rweview! When the chain comes off the unit, that is a indication the chain is not on the tool correctly. When you place the chain around the chain bar, please ensure the chain is going in the grove correct. Then place the chain bar back on the unit and with the extra chain go around the sprocket, and then pull the chain bar forward (with one hand) & place cover back on unit tightening the chain with saw. Light weight and so easy to use

Little did I know I would be using this amazing tool on October 29, 2020 to cut up a large tree limb plus many smaller ones on October 29, 2020 during Hurricane Zeta. Since we did not have electricity, this gem of a tool was a blessing. For a woman in her 70’s, with the right tools, she’s getting the job done. I have 4 Worx 20v items let me get my task done easily.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have other Worx tools and other size batteries and they work with the chainsaw. This is nice because I can work for hours without waiting for a battery to charge! Loving it!

This is not meant to cut down trees but it does exactly what I expected. Works with the batteries for my weed eater so I have lots of time
