Great Saw

Got the chainsaw along with the 10’ pole. Having some branches (yes I said branches not little 1 inch to 3 inch things) dangling over my vehicle that split. I used the worx pole saw (battery operated) and cut that bad boy down with a big thump. Took me but maybe a few minutes to get through that thing it was much thicker than the blade and in a matter of 5 minutes I had it all diced up. Overall it’s a great experience and it’s like the chainsaw guides you, you don’t have to force it just let it do it’s thing it’s much faster. I wouldn’t think twice to get another of this if it ever fails me in the future. The first experience was more than enough for me to like it. The neighbor didn’t even know I was cutting until the branch fell. It’s much quieter than a gas chainsaw.

I was impressed how quick I received my Saw and also impressed how nice of tool this is. Very light weight and it cut through every thing i cut with a breeze, It is a very simple tool to use. Charging time could be a little faster but wouldn’t hesitate to buy another if needed.

I've had gas-operated chainsaws in the past but as a smallish, aging female, those have become to difficult to handle. The cordless product here is perfect, allows me to tackle smaller tasks without issue & is comfortable to use for periods of time. I'd strongly recommend! Have other WORX products & have never been disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own several WORX products. love them all.The chain saw came fast. I put it to use the same day that I received it. What a work horse! It does an excellent job on the logs that I needed to cut. I will be using it in my shop in doors as well no smelly fumes to deal with eather. Love it

I BOUGHT THIS A FEW WEEKS AGO AND I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER. I HAVE A 16" CHAINSAW BUT I WAS SCARED TO DEATH OF IT. IT DOES ANY TRIMMING THAT I HAVE PUT IT TO.

Great Dependable Tool

I bought this after having three huge trees taken down in my yard. It made the considerable cleanup easy. I have owned two quality gas chainsaws and literally gave the most recent one away as I never had any luck with them. From starting issues to imbalances to gas/oil mixing..my WORX cordless chainsaw works so much better with so much less hassle. Couple that with its dead simple ease of cleaning and you have a winner!

I’ve purchased several Worx tools for yard work because they are lightweight and easy for me to handle. Other than the poor battery life, I have generally been pleased.
This chainsaw is a dud. Leaks oil when not in use and sprays oil when in use. Customer service says it’s designed to leak oil. Suggested I add a tiny bit every time I use it then store it upside down. Chain flies off every couple of cuts unless the tension is manually adjusted. It actually makes a decent cut when it works, but it takes too long to do the job when you have to stop and put the chain back on over and over and clean up the flying and leaking oil.

We apologize for any inconveniences you have been caused. To ensure your chainsaw does not leak, we recommend that it is left in an upright horizontal position. To prevent continuous oiling after operation, we recommend unloosening the oil cap slightly then tighten it again. We also recommend using a standard bar and chain oil(Grade: ISO VG32) as it is a thicker viscosity which will prevent the oil from spewing from the chainsaw. The bar and chain oil can be found at your local hardware store.
It is also recommended that you tension the chain every 4-5 cuts. Depending on the type of wood being cut, the heat that is produced can cause the chain to stretch. To tension the chain, simply secure it around the sprocket and bar so that the chain is seated then pull the bar forward (outward) to create a snug fit. The chain should be tight enough to fit securely around the bar while leaving appropriate give for tensioning. Take caution that you do not overtighten the chain.
