Chain falls off

I bought this saw in mid April and finally used it this past weekend. I loved the weight and ease of use BUT after 2-3 cuts, the chain would fall off. The limbs I was cutting were only 2-3 inches in diameter and as long as the chain stayed in place, the saw worked well. Customer service wait times are ridiculously long so if anyone has any suggestions I’d appreciate the advice. TIA
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your question. One way to help alleviate the issue is to take the bar and chain off of the tool, then reassemble it to make sure it tightly in place. After you place the bar and chain on the tool, pull the bar outwards (away from the motor) and then start twisting the auto tension knob. As you tighten the knob, lift the tip of the bar at a slight upwards angle. Once fully tightened, let go of the bar and check the tension in the chain. Tipping the bar at an upward angle as you tighten it allows for added tension and typically resolves any issues with the chain popping off. I will also send you an email with additional troubleshooting steps, just in case, this does not solve it for you.

Arrived promptly and in as advertised condition. Used it immediately to cut down a substantial amount of decayed arborvitae. Worked perfectly. Extremely easy to use. Perfect for any typical homeowner project. Used this instead of my gas powered chainsaw. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my 20V Power Share 10" Cordless Chainsaw with Auto-Tension 2 days ago .I am 66 year old female & I bought it for me & 16 year old grandson ,I have 30 acres it is perfect for cleaning trails, As my grandson said this little chain saw just made Life Easier,it is so much better than using a machete,.we Love it

Used it right out of the box with the 2 AH battery to cut limbs on Red Tip.. Cut fast and lasted to make all of the cuts.
