Works really well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for about a year. I bought it because I had a maple tree cut down, but I needed to remove it myself. This saw had no problem cutting through the limbs, even the larger ones. after that I helped some friends clear some trees on their property. I was able to bring a few (not really large) trees down with this saw as well.
It's light weight, easy to use, easy to maneuver especially in tight areas.
My complaints or lessons learned...The oil leaks after you are done using this and put it away. So I recommend draining the oil out after you are done.
The "auto-tension" doesn't seem to work well, I had to adjust the tension while running this (which is the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars)
I would recommend this to a friend!

just what I need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant about an electric chainsaw only because I didn't realize they had been around for quite some time. I've never had a chainsaw, and I just assumed you needed a gas one for its power. Well, I already had a Power Share drill and string trimmer, so I thought I'd try this out - mainly because of the trees I have, also. I was excited and surprised how well this worked when I had to break down some rather large branches that broke during a storm. Now I want to prune the whole yard! The weight and balance of this saw is also a good feature.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had a bit of a problem with the chain/auto tensioner and chain oiler but once the chain was properly installed and the oiler started working the saw worked great as advertised. Battery life was good, performed dozens of small cuts and 6 or so 4" cuts without having to recharge battery.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this during the winter season to be ready for spring. I saw what needed to be trim and didn't have the money for a tree service. I am a female, 55 and wanted something I could handle and maintain. I have never used a chainsaw before and was concerned on the safety features. Easy to use and very light. After 2 min with it I was a pro I love this saw and it is so quiet.

I purchased this chainsaw last year . When I went to get it out to use it this season I noticed that the oil leaked out of it. It was sitting level and was not over filled. What could cause thos to happen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi Peggie! Thank you for leaving your review. Since the oil in our chainsaws is gravity fed and not pumped, the oil will always leak out of the side of the saw so that the chain will be properly lubricated during operation. The best recommendation to stop the oil from leaking is to empty the oil reservoir before storage, and only use approximately the amount of oil for the job at hand. Also, you may try storing it on the left side with the cap tightened securely, but if your cap has holes in it, this may not work as well as emptying the reservoir. Great Chainsaw!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the chainsaw last month after having purchased 40v lawn mower and it's perfect for both sawing smaller logs, tree trunks, etc, but is also great for trimming trees and bushes. Love the interchangeable battery system of these tools. I'll definitely be adding more when the need arises.
