Easy-to-use

Was a little skeptical when my wife purchased chain saw for me. I have found my skepticism unwarranted. Saw is liteweight easy to handle and operate. I am a 71 year old man and this saw was much easier for me to handle. The power was amazing able to use to cut significant sized limbs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Versatile tool

We bought a very wooded, overgrown lot for our RV and a garden last year. While we had the property professionally cleaned, we've had to do much of it ourselves. My husband has many WORX tools, but I wanted the small chainsaw so I could help with smaller chores. He has cancer and can't do everything, and I want to do my share. I love that little saw. The saw is perfect for getting into small spaces and getting those pesky small trees and limbs that are growing on the fence row. It's quick, efficient, easy to use and the battery lasts a long time. I don't know what I'd do without it. I still have more to cut.

Too slow to be useful

The chain speed is too slow, causing the teeth to "grab" and give extremely rough and slow cut. This is design problem. I normal (fast) moving chain will glide smoothly into the work but this saw bounces on top of the branch like driving on a cobblestone road. The smaller one handed saw, however, cuts like a banshee because the chain speed is much faster.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great small chainsaw

I bought this with the pole so I could trim limbs from our crepe myrtle trees and other trees as well. We also have your jaw saw and have used it successfully for 3 years, but it can’t get into some tight spaces. This little saw is heavier on the end of the pole than I had anticipated, but it does the job. I would recommend it for anyone strong enough to manage it.

Battery do not gold charged

Thank you for sharing your experience and review! WORX batteries run different amounts of time depending on the tool, but for the most part, the 2.0 Ah batteries average about 20 minutes of run-time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to age, I need light weight and ease of maintenance and handling; this saw is perfect for me. I just bought my 12 year old grandson his own saw so he can assist grandma. We both (play) together to clean up honeysuckle.
