I can not believe that worx hasn't come up with a better idea for the cap that holds the spool on. They are forever having to be replaced. Try to find one in your local store, impossible.. The web site says it's out of stock. So it hangs in the garage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed!

I bought this trimmer less than 1 year ago and loved it. I had even recommended this to others! However, a couple weeks ago, the power started cutting out on a full battery. I discovered that the handle had cracked across right below the round start button for some reason! Perhaps the dual batteries are too heavy on the top end of it? I love this trimmer and hope for a response as to why this has happened. Hopefully. Worx will stand behind their product and compensate me for a brand new one as it is still under warranty. I anxiously await your response. Thank you.

40v trimmer

This was sent to replace a 56v trimmer you no longer carry, which battery time was much better. 40v. Seems like Im just gettinng started and it's done. So I use the 24v to get some more done. I expected battery time from the 40v. As far as recommendations if you have a small yard would be great.

Easy to use lightweight and no need for gas

I bought this 3 weeks ago and I’ve used it a few times. It does the job of those noisy gas weedwackers. Works great all around my 1/2 acre of property

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a 40V single strand Worx trimmed several years ago. This new 40V twin strand trimmed has a lot more power, and can cut through heavier materials.

Great power

We have a 20A trimmer that we like, but we needed more power without going to gas or cord. This trimmer is just the ticket. Be aware that you use up your battery charge fairly fast
