So - I bought a new battery for my Worx wire brad & staple gun (which I love) because over the winter in my unheated garage seemed to get the original battery into a state the provided charger couldn't recover it from. I rarely charge the battery - because it JUST KEEPS GOING!!
The new one had me back in business - and gave me the original to examine. It's really well-made. Not a cheap throw-away like some major brand tools. All the cells were evenly low (a good sign) but REALLY low. A careful slow very low current trickle charge brought it back to a voltage that the provided charger liked, and now that battery is back in business as well. TOUGH BATTERIES!! The charger might be a bit over-cautious, though.

Good battery, but....

Love Worx' battery powered tools. However, the batteries begin to degrade much more quickly than they should, and cost much more than they should. Replaced my original 32v trimmer with the 20v model last summer because of Worx' stupid business model (see below) and the battery was great, more than enough to trim my entire .25 acre yard. Not anymore. First use this summer, it lasted maybe 1/3 of the yard fully charged, so had to buy a second battery as backup. By this time next year, I will need to scrap my trimmer and get a whole new one, even if mine is still working fine, because Worx' business model is to discontinue product lines and all accessories, so my 20v batteries will no longer be available, forcing me to upgrade at cost whether I want to or need to or not. Recommend with reservations.

Years ago I bought a trimmer and blower bundle. Came with 2 batteries just purchased 2 more. I'll never have to quit due to battery limitations again. Great product.
