I bought this battery as a back up for my cordless blower. I use the blower often and did not want to have to deal with my blower running out of power in the middle of a task. Since the batter can be used with other Worx tools, it is great to have a spare.

20 volt battery

I've had my trimmer for a couple of months. I would rate the 3 stars just ok, however the battery I would rate 1 star. Two issues not very powerful and after full charge I get only 15 mins to a half hour of use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent tool batteries do not last

I have two trimmers one with no cad battery and one with lithium ion battery. I would say this is best trimmer I ever owned if the battery lasted more than a year. After a year the battery will not hold a charge.
I would recommend this to a friend!
