[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this dishwasher last week and we love it! We LOVE all of the features! This dishwasher has a third row up top which is a perfect space for cleaning utensils like spatulas. In addition, the second row height can be adjusted which is helpful when trying to accommodate for a larger dish/pan. Also, the dishes have come out sparkling clean all while the dish cycle is extremely quiet. We have an open living/kitchen floorpan and you can barely hear the dishwasher running which is amazing! We have been extremely happy with this dishwasher!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were recently faced with having to replace our 15 year old dishwasher. With everyone in the family working, having a dishwasher is absolutely necessary. We looked around, did our online comparisons regarding price, function, look and product/company reliability. We ultimately settled on this Frigidaire 24'' Built-in Dishwasher!
We have had it in use for a couple of weeks now and felt we had to share our experience. The installation went so smoothly! The unit popped right in to the old dishwasher’s space without any alterations or adjustments needed, something we had worried about. Once we figured out how to get it running, the dishwasher performed beautifully. This unit requires that the door be open while you make your wash selections (it took a bit of experimenting to figure that out).
This model is stainless steel and has a very sleek and clean look to it and the unit itself is very ruggedly built. The door and body are very solid, which is probably why it is so amazingly quiet when in operation! Our old dishwasher used to drown out all conversation but this unit was so quiet, we weren’t even sure it was running at first. We love the space and layout of the three racks, one of which is the top tray for those awkwardly large utensils (like spatulas, salad spoons, etc.). This option is great because you don’t have to take up dish space for them leaving you more room for the really important things to be washed.
The two lower trays hold a large amount of dishes, pans and glasses. It also delivers a very powerful cleaning! There is no need to pre-rinse any of the dishes as this unit has a “surge” option that really packs a punch when it comes to cleaning heavily soiled dishes.
There are a couple of things that we think could be better. Even though the unit is very sturdy, we found the dish racks, which are a very lightweight plastic, to be flimsy feeling. The silverware tray, which is removable in case you need more space for dishes, does not do a very good job of separating the silverware and the shorter utensils can get wedged in the side openings of the tray (see picture). One last issue is with the drying feature. It does not get the dishes as dry as we had hoped even while using the "Heat" option.
Overall we really like it and highly recommend it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher has great features! Many options of different washes needed according to life style. It is extremely quiet and holds a lot of dishes. Love the top rack which is great for bulky utensils and extra items.
This dishwasher is miles better than the one it replaced. I love the thought put into the design. The top rack is great for smaller items like lids, large knifes and cooking utensils. You can even take out the standard silverware tray for more room on the bottom rack and use the top third rack for silverware. I found that this unit does a great job of getting off caked on food you don't need to scrub before putting the dishes in. One of the things that surprised me most is how remarkably quiet it is when running. If your in the market for quality washer with great features you have found the one!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this dishwasher for a couple of weeks now - with three kids and the quarantine, it is safe to say that it has been used much more than if kids were in school! It not only cleans dishes with food not scrubbed, but has amazing space. I love how much cleaner the utensils are with the third/top shelf separation. We can also wash so much more in each load with the traditional utensil holder removed! (In the picture, it is pulled out, but does come with it.)
I've had this dishwasher for almost 2 weeks and am very happy with it. The top 3rd rack fits all my larger spoons as well as other utensils. All 3 of the racks slide easily and do not fall off their tracks. I've used the Energy Saver cycle and the Normal Wash cycle the most often and both are very efficient. I've owned a few different brands of dishwashers in my life and in comparison with others, this dishwasher's Energy Saver cycle is the best. The dishes are much drier at the end of the cycle. The Normal Wash dries dishes completely but my favorite part of this cycle is how well it cleans. I loaded dishes with stuck on food as well as egg and both the dishes and the silverware came out spotless! I don't think I will even need to use the Heavy Cycle because this dishwasher cleans so well. This machine is quiet. My kitchen and family room are both connected as one and I don't have a problem watching TV while the dishwasher is running. The machine also has a holder for stemmed glasses which is a bonus as well. This dishwasher is worth the purchase and will not disappoint!
