Performs adequately

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The installation instructions to set up the dishwasher were pretty straight forward. The dishwasher works great. There are just a few things about it that I would change. When the bottom rack is pulled out completely and you try to push it back in, it seems to catch on the back stop. The back stop is the little piece on the back and bottom of the rack that prevents it from sliding completely out. Secondly, the silverware holder sits on the bottom rack loosely. If the holder sits too far the right the handle catches on the side of the dishwasher when pushing the slide back in. I ended up removing the handle because of this annoyance. I would recommend changing the design of the handle and creating a system where the holder easily attaches and removes from the bottom rack. Lastly, the buttons on the top of the door could be improved. With the amount of pressure it takes to select the settings, eventually the plastic covering or even the buttons themselves will wear out. Improving the buttons so that you only have to press lightly or tap would ensure the hardware will last longer with a more touch screen feel. These are just the items that could use some improvement, otherwise the dishwasher performs adequately.

Good but not as Saturdays the old one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced the utensil holder with a heavier one immediately because we couldn't easily lift it out to put away flatware. The top area for knives and large utensils is great. The lower area for plates is large but if heavily laden it doesn't slide as easily as my older model. It cleans and dries well and is very quiet. I haven't tried to use it without rinsing off excess food. It has a very large capacity which has been a plus. We have only had it a few weeks so I can't comment on its dependability.

Pretty good dishwasher, but could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its first job is to clean dishes, which it does very well. It's second job is to accommodate dishes, at which it falls a little short. With the top dish rack in the upper position, it is too shallow to stand-up a regular glass. After dropping it to the deeper setting, this renders the lower rack too shallow for a tall pan on its side, or for a long serving spoon standing upright in the utensil compartment. Both would stop the spinning action of the carousel. I wish I had brought our dishes to the store to test them out, or that there was a try-it-before-you-buy-it option on these things.
With some strategic dish-positioning, we'll figure it out. In the meantime, it cleans well.

I have a couple of tea stained glasses that I use all of the time and they came out cleaner than they have been in years. I'd recommend this dishwasher to friends.
