Easy to use out and about

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed using these hands free collection cups for my pump. It has come in great use especially for the few occasions that I have had to pump out in public. They are pretty discreet to the point where my husband hadn’t even realised what I was doing sat at the dinner table until I was finished! It has made it easier to continue working and doing other things around the house while using these.
I can get about the same yield of milk using these as when I use my regular pump parts. The only thing I found was that it took me a little longer to get fully empty. But it was easy enough just to pump for a few extra minutes, even when I increased the suction.
They were super easy to assemble, use and clean. Just three parts when you don’t count the O-ring, which I don’t as you don’t need to remove this each time you clean them.
I also loved how they came with adapters to fit with my existing pump! I think that was my favourite thing about them was that a whole new pump wasn’t needed in order to use these. The only thing I would have changed is the measuring marks on the side of the cups that show how much you have pump. They were fairly minimal so it wasn’t super easy to tell how much I had gotten until I poured into a bottle for storage. But as you need to do that step anyways it’s not a huge issue.

I absolutely hate these cups! I so badly wished I would love them but nothing seems to work, I have tried them with the pump in style advanced wall pump and the freestyle flex and cant seem to ever get a good output like I do with flanges and bottles and yes I am properly using them and flange size is correct as I mentioned I do use the flange and cups so I know its not that! Annnnnd the additional tubes that are needed for these are so inconvenient they bend so easy at the ends and you dont even notice you aren't properly pumping which defeats a hands free purpose having to check it every 5mins, as if that was not enough it really is not “wash only 3 parts” the O-rings always end up with water/moisture underneath and I am not willing to risk mold so its an additional washing part. Overall so disappointed I so badly wish I could get my money back to invest it elsewhere these cups are so not worth it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hands-free collection cups from Medela are an amazing product that are so easy to use while being productive! I received the product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. When I was chosen, I was worried they wouldn’t be effective but I was also super excited to test them out. They worked so well and are super comfortable to wear. While wearing the cups, I was able to vacuum, cook, clean and eat in peace! So refreshing to be able to do so much while pumping! The cups were very easy to assemble and to clean and not having to remove the O-ring each time made cleaning it such a breeze! My favorite features about the cups are, they are light weight, comfortable, easy to clean and super effective! You can’t go wrong with Medela and this is just another successful product that I absolutely loved from them! Just them being hands-free really made me love them the most!

medela makes the best pumps

Most comfortable pump I've ever used and this is my third pregnancy. The cups are lightweight and the suction options are incredible. Pumping should be comfortable, no pain, and these do just that. Easy to clean, easy to use. Out of all the hands free options, these are the easiest to find a bra to wear because they are the most lightweight. The ones with motors are too heavy for any bra.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I liked seeing how I fit in the middle compared to other hands-free cups. In others, I had difficulty knowing if I was lined properly and wasted time having to pump longer. I would like more accessory options to reduce the flange size, I had a hard time finding something that worked. These aren't very discrete, but unlike others, it stands independently and pours great. I liked the ease of setup, and the cleaning of the parts was simple. I did, however, struggle many times trying to get it apart. Also, contrary to advertising, this is a four-part cup, not three. Overall, I liked this hands-free cup.

Worked well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this breast pump accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. These cups were effective at pumping milk and generally comfortable to wear. I yielded as much milk as I typically do with the standard pumping accessories, which was unexpected. These were relatively easy to assemble and easy to clean since they are dishwasher safe. My main complaint and reason for taking off a star is because I found it very difficult to pour the milk out of the cups into my milk storage bags and always spilled some of my hard earned milk because there is no easy way to pour the milk from the cup to the bag. Overall, a good hands free collection cup if you are looking for one.

Easy to use and clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as a member Stellar Product Testing Panel to try for free. I am SO glad I was able to test this product. I use these all the time! I was able to use them straight of the box essentially. They are very easy to put together and they worked seamlessly with my Medela swing maxi. I use them when I am doing chores, putting on my makeup and at work. It makes it much easier than having bottle that hang and get in the way. They work just as well and are more discreet. I also worry less about spilling milk. They are easy to empty and clean. I LOVE them and highly recommend. The ONLY caveat is that they can fog up about halfway through my pumping session and make it difficult to see how much milk is in them or if there is letdown. It doesn’t bother me too much and I still use them all the time.

Mostly good but not perfect

I have only used these at home to pump while having dinner after work, but I have found that it makes about the same volume of milk as the traditional pump that comes with my instyle max flow.
Pros: Fewer parts to clean (two plastic pieces and one valve), comfortably sits in my nursing bra inside my shirt (so I don't have to grab my hands free bra and have everything hanging out while I eat), it works with my pump with only the small adaptor that it comes with for the tubing, the pour spout on the top is convenient and works really well to empty out the container completely, I haven't had any issues with leaking (even when I bent slightly forward to pick a toy off the floor).
Cons: I haven't figured out how to get the pumps off without getting covered in milk from the leftover that doesn't make it past the membrane, they are very bulky in my shirt and bra so it looks a bit goofy (not a huge con unless you want to be inconspicuous), and they take up a lot of space in the dishwasher (again, not a huge con if you wash by hand which isn't bad with the parts).
Overall, I'm happy with the pump, but the fact that I get wet every time keeps me from bringing it to work.
