Tube seal wears down

This worked great for the first 3 weeks, and then the seal for the tube connected to the pump wore down and now does not pump. I will have to wait to update my review after I get a hold of the customer service team as this has impacted my pumping massively.

Great for all around

Pros 1. Parts are easy to clean 2. Can be charged while in use 3. Easy to stop mid pump to empty containers and continue pumping. 4. Easy to empty 5. It is very quiet, or I don't notice it because it is in my pocket. 6. IT USES A TYPE C CHARGER!! No one wants to have to carry around a different charger just for the pump. And then if you lose the original, you have to order a new one and wait for it to come. You can just go out and buy a new charger
Cons 1. The start stop buttons are touch activated so when I put it in my pocket, I turn it off sometimes. 2. Let down is not as strong but I still pump the same amount, it just takes a little longer. 3. I'm tall, so the tubing is barely long enough to put the device in my pocket. Maybe medela can make a holster for me, until then, I think my backpack purse might work pretty good. :)
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’ve been using this pump for three months now and absolutely hate it. They come lose with the most minimal movement, and won’t work unless they are clinically dry. Have wasted so much time, which with a newborn you don’t really have.

Great pump but the collection cup….

I’ve had this pump only few months and every time the collection cups are hit with heat (dishwasher or sterilizer) the cups shrink I’ve only done this 3 times and now they are super tight. It’s difficult to put the cups back together without having to use my counter to press togther.

This pump is horrible, had it for two weeks and have constant issues with that suction pieces in the hands free collection cups. Have to sit on hold on my breasts. Nothing hands free about it.

Missing a very important feature

There is no way to lock the touch buttons. This wouldn't be an issue if the pump wasn't marketed as "hands-free" and wearable. With no lock on the buttons it is hardly wearable - they are way too easy to press with any body part, and even trough clothes.
My solution is to use an antistatic bag from an old hard drive, it spoils the looks but prevents accidental touches. Or if you haven't bought it yet, just go for the classic Swing Maxi motor, which is a bit heavier, but has actual physical buttons.
Also, the bluetooth connectivity is just a gimmick, but sadly that's the age we live in, everything has to be connected and touchscreen.
Otherwise the pump is very good and feels solid. If it's as durable as our 10+ year old Swing and the touch buttons don't bother you it's worth the premium price.

Very Glitchy & Not Enough Sizes
on October 21, 2024

I put this breast pump on my registry and received it as a gift, however I so wish I would’ve chosen a different brand. My issues with it begin with the fact that it: 1. Has an open spout at the top so you can’t bend over since it doesn’t close. Also makes for storing milk while pumping on the go more complicated since you can’t just keep it in the pumps themselves. 2. The touch screen is so ridiculously sensitive if it brushes against your leg or hits the counter, it might pause or change settings on you. 3. Wasn’t a fan of the wrist strap motor design…kinda takes away from it being hands-free because it’s swinging everywhere and the tubes aren’t that long so if you set it down you’re on a short leash. 4. There are only breast shield sizes available above 21mm, which is actually pretty large. If you need anything smaller, you have to order some 3rd party inserts which in my experience make the pump less effective. 5. Worst of all, it recently started glitching. I’ve only had it for 2 months and it will suddenly stop out of nowhere with full battery and the buttons will become unresponsive. Right now it has full battery but won’t work unless it’s plugged in - which completely defeats the purpose of it being a hands free pump.
I will say, my two positives are that, they are easy to clean because of the small amount of parts and, when it is functioning normally, it DOES get milk out pretty effectively. I’d say equivalent to, if not slightly better than a standard Spectra S2 pump which has a large hospital grade motor. I’m hoping I can get a refund or at least replacement or something since it seems to be dying on me after only 2 months of use.

Bought the product under impression of being great as per experience from hospital. The milk drains out, and it doesn't provide proper suction. waste of money
