Great pump for on the go

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before starting, I received this breast pump from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. As an exclusive pumper for the last 11 months I was so excited to receive this pump! After using this pump for the past few weeks I can honestly say I love it for pumping on the go. I have pumped while driving, at the swimming pool, and even while grocery shopping. The shape of the cups makes them almost undetectable when in use and I had no issue fitting them in any of my bras even with my larger breasts. The pump itself has great suction that automatically switches from stimulation to expression mode at 2 minutes which means you don’t even need to touch the pump once it is turned to your desired level. This pump also connects to the Medela App which lets you adjust suction levels, track your sessions, and so much more all from your phone. My absolute favourite feature though is how easy this pump is to clean! It comes apart in 3 pieces and all of them are able to go into the dishwasher. There is no confusion when putting it back together either - my husband has even done it for me when emptying the dishes. Overall I am obsessed with this pump for giving me the freedom to pump wherever and whenever I need to. It is 100% the pump that will be coming to the office with me when I return to work next month.

Medela Freestyle Hands Free Breast Pump

I received it being part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and am so glad I did. I had an older Medela pump that had me stuck using an outlet and a bigger machine using bottles that was quite loud. With the Freestyle Hands-Free, I can be on the move, doing chores around the house or away from home. It doesn't require a special bra and the flanges with milk storage are quite comfortable! I will admit, it isn't the most discreet which I am okay with. It is very quiet and the 9 suction settings had me feeling like all of my milk, hind milk included, emptied. The Freestyle Hands-Free is also very easy to use as a single pump for those who only need to work on one side. The size is very portable and I can add to my diaper bag without stuffing it, whereas my other pump required its own backpack. I truly believe this would have helped me with my previous supply issues if I had it when my baby was born. It is by far my favourite pump and I have used a few electric and manual ones. I cannot recommend it enough!

Gem for working moms

I have a busy work schedule and have to breast pump multiple times a day, so I was really exciting to try Medela Freestyle pump, thanks to Stellar Panel.
First of all, I really enjoyed the design and how many accessories it has.
The weight of the pump itself is really light, it doesn’t bother me when I have to wear it for some time.
The cups are really innovative, it shaped to fit well in any types of the bra, I even used it with my fitness top and had no issues.
The pump is mighty, and expressed milk very fast if needed without hurting the breast.
It doesn’t make too much noise, but still makes noticeable sounds, so it’s better not to use it if having work calls or just when baby is asleep.
The battery capacity is good, lasts about 3 full pumps for me, but it is easy to recharge because of usb connector.
I am very pleased with the performance and reliability and definitely recommend it for moms with busy schedule.

Great pump for every day mom life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Medela Freestyle Hands Free Double Electric Breast Pump to try through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it couldn't have come at a better time! As an almost exclusively breastfeeding mom to a 5 month old I had recently realized I need to get her on a bottle or we'll never be able to leave her with anyone for even a few hours. My previous pump was not doing the trick though and leaving me frustrated. This pump, however, solved all of my frustrations!
The custom sized flanges ensure a good fit that doesn't leave me sore. The ability to put it on and continue about my day means I can put it on in the morning and continue making breakfast for my family and getting a head start on dishes while the pump does all the hard work. But most importantly it is so easy to clean! With only three pieces per side, and the ability to easily switch it between single and double was a complete game changer. The cups are so easy to open up and scrub clean, and they can even go in the dishwasher if I'm running a cycle anyways.
The only downsides I found were you are still hooked up to a machine, but I now have my pump pants which just have big pockets to slide it in. It is also very big in your bra and I would not consider this discrete, but it is very quiet! Considering I do all my pumping at home this is perfectly fine for me. Additionally, it doesn't remember what setting you like so when it automatically moves from the stimulation phase to pumping you do need to stop and increase the level. I got busy and forgot this a few times and only got a quarter of the milk I normally would. However, I did get used to this and now get more milk than I ever did before and am regularly able to take a bottle when we go out, or add to my freezer stash.
Overall this is a game changer for any mom wanting to pump, whether occasionally like me or exclusively. It is so easy to use and effective, I would definitely recommend!

A Great Pump For All Pumping Moms

Finally, I no longer need to set aside time to pump, but can do it throughout the day. This hands-free pump has given me back a significant amount of time in my day and I can comfortably move around the house and ultimately spend more quality time with my 8 month old.
The pump itself is very easy to assemble with minimal parts. It’s designed very nicely to fit in my nursing bra and is also easy to wash and sterilize. It’s shockingly lightweight and compact enough to carry in my diaper bag. I was also surprised that it has been effective and efficient at pumping my milk. The only issue I faced was in transferring milk to bottle - sometimes getting a little spillage.
The best feature of this pump is that it is truly hands free and I love that it’s comfortable to wear and slip into my nursing bra. Best of all, I did not have to buy any additional accessories for this product.

Overall, this pump is superior to my previous pump and I would have purchased this myself if it were on the market at the time I needed a pump.

Wish I had this pump 9 months ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A pump is a significant investment, but I really regret not getting the Freestyle Hands Free Double Electric Breast Pump sooner. I exclusively breast feed my little one and in the newborn days I tried using a hospital-grade rental and a hand-me-down pump from my sister. I hated pumping and couldn't take care of my velcro baby while using those bulky pumps. It was a time-consuming mess! I gave up pumping and was hand-expressing when I needed a bottle. I started using the Freestyle Hands Free Double Electric Breast Pump as soon as I received it from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and have been using it every day for the last month to help transition my son to a bottle and start our weaning process in preparation for daycare. This pump is so much easier to assemble, put on, and clean than my old pumps! The best part is that I can put a sweater on over the pump, do chores and even walk to the mailbox without fear of dislodging the suction. And the fact that I could use the pump straight out of the box is pure gold for a mom with no time to fiddle with different flanges and settings.

Convenient and comfortable

My youngest was in the NICU, and in order for me to be able to breast-feed down the line was to pump so that I would have my supply/milk production up. I SPENT SO MANY DAYS TETHERED TO THE WALL but this is a total pump is a TOTAL GAME CHANGER! It allows me to be able to pump and do chores around the house. You won’t be able to bend over too far or the milk will spill out, but it comes with a convenient strap to hold the motor and the cups that go on your breasts are extremely light, which make it easy to still move around. The one thing that I would have liked is for this pump to come with a belt to hold the motor for days when I’m not wearing pants with pockets, which is seldom but adds to the convenience.
I am also enjoying how there is only three pieces of the pump to clean versus the five pieces in your traditional pump. Coming from someone who spent months cleaning pump parts and bottles. Trust me it is a lot easier. The battery charges up really quickly and can be even charged up on the go as long as you have the cord.
I often wear it while I’m driving to pick up my son from school or driving to the grocery store. It was really easy, pouring the milk out into bags or bottles. I’ve tried other wearable pumps, and they tend to be heavy. I found these Madella pumps to be more discrete, and the pump lines are well hidden underneath the shirt. The touch screen is so cool and looks so sleek. I used my old Madella freestyle, insulated bag to carry the new hands-free freestyle in my diaper bag. I just grab the bag and go. Doesn’t take up much room and it’s so convenient to have the pump on the go, again very light weight.
Don’t make your experience any more isolating, and alone than it already is motherhood is hard enough without having to sit tethered to a wall pumping milk like you’re a lacticerie, may, as will be a mobile lacticerie. Get this pump!

Portable Pumping Mama in COMFORT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second portable pump. But my go to one since receiving it from the Stellar Product Testing Panel - thank you! A portable pump is a must and I love how I was able to eat with my kids while pumping discreetly. I also enjoyed how the pump does not need a specific bra - I just used my regular nursing bra. It was light and the fit was great - comfortable and a lot of breastmilk was able to be pumped. I would recommend this pump to all my mama friends.
