Awesome Pump Option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Another top notch product from Medela!! They are considered a leader in breastfeeding supplies and it’s no wonder why. This hands free pump is no exception. Discreet, easy to use and effective. It pumps quickly and easily. I love being hands free and able to get things done while pumping!! My nipples are very particular with pumps. I didn’t get as much milk out as I get with other pumps so I did give four stars. You also can’t be too active with the pump on but that’s to be expected, no picking up squirming toddlers or you could come undone! Besides for that you can’t really go wrong here. Benefits I found are this pump is easy to use, easy to clean and it’s comfortable. Fit right inside my nursing bra. The wires didn’t get in my way. I am looking forward to using this pump for the next year as my newborn grows! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this pump to test and review!

Convenient was key

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Medela hands free double electric breast pump was convenient on the go while driving or running errands. Although I don’t feel the suction was super strong it still compact and discreet while on the go. The pump was also freeing to get dishes done and start dinner or do other chores around the house. I would recommend this pump as a supplement pump when you need to be up, moving and on the go! Thankful to Stellar Product Testing Panel for receiving this pump giving me the opportunity to try this product for free!

Solid hands free pump

Hi, exclusive pumper here! I am pleasantly surprised by The Medela Freestyle Hands-free Double Electric Breast Pump. It was so easy to assemble, use and clean; making it feel like I haven’t spent more time with my pump than my baby. The natural shape made going out in public less awkward and gave me more confidence to pump anywhere and everywhere. A huge thing for me as someone who exclusively pumps is trying to keep my house somewhat clean. The Medela Freestyle Hands-free Double Electric Breast Pump allows the freedom of movement. It allows me to keep up on the laundry, dishes, wrangling of the kids and also getting out of the house to run errands. It has many great feature for a hands free pump, my favorite being the ability set it and forget it. You pick your suction strength and you’re good to go, at the 30 minute mark it turns off. I have not used a pump that has been this easy. Stellar Product Testing Panel knew what I needed and I thank them for providing me with this beauty.

My go to pump

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this breast pump from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. As someone who exclusively pumped with my first child, I wish I had looked into getting a portable pump. Now that I have a toddler and a newborn, it really is necessary to have a portable option to be more hands-free.
I've tried other brands and pumps, and because I did EP for so long, it is important to have an easy and comfortable pump. This time around I am nursing and pumping. If I were EPing this time, I think I'd choose this pump most of the time! I really love it. I work from home and don't have to leave the house too often so it is a great option for my lifestyle.
A portable pump is always going to be way more convenient, but I did find the normal hospital grade pumps to produce a little more output. To be fair, I have not tested this out further based on the same time of day, etc. This may not be an issue for other users.
I love the shape and how discreet it is in the bra. It is very comfortable and lightweight, and I can hardly feel the pump which is VERY GOOD. I did not like that there are still wires and that there's still a pump to carry around. I saw in the marketing photos that moms put it in their pockets or around their wrists though. The loop attachment to the pump is really nice to put around the wrist. I wish there was a clip or something to slide onto leggings, otherwise it's better to use this pump if you have pants with pockets.
The design is smart and super simple to clean and assemble. By far my favorite pump assembly and favorite thing about the pump is that it is 3 parts total. It all snaps together seamlessly, does not leak, is transparent so you can see how much milk you're pumping and it is super easy to pour into bottles. I don't think the pump is all too loud. I've used it while driving and appreciate that it's only 3 parts total when I need to pump while on the go. I cannot tell you how many times I've forgotten pump parts when I had to work in an office or go somewhere - it was always such a pain to remember all the pump parts!
Overall, this is an amazing pump option if you work from home, or are okay with a portable option that isn't the most discreet (still has wires). If you have multiple kids close in age it's a no-brainer. It's not the most private, so I'd find a different pump if you want something completely hidden. This pump is great for my lifestyle and needs though and I appreciate the freedom I get to cook, clean, pay with my kids, run errands, drive, etc. as a result. It makes you never ever want to go back to a normal pump again!

Great addition to pump collection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pump, provided by stellar testing panel, was so easy to use. The cups being only 3 pieces was super easy to clean and assemble. The cup shape was so great and super discreet under clothes especially. I used this pump in the preop area and if it wasn’t for the motor no one would have known I was pumping. I liked a separate motor, allowing for the better shaped cups and a bit more power. This pump helps allow me to pump more places being so much more discreet than typical flanges. It was great to pump at family gatherings, only needing time away to place and remove the pump. I’m so glad to add this to my arsenal of pumps and help allow me more time with family and freedom of movement. My favorite part of this pump is the 3 piece cups and great shape of the cups. I got about the same output as I do from typical flanges and responded well to this set up.

Just what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the perfect gift for me. I received this wearable breast pump as past of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I mostly enjoy the convenience of his breast pump. Medela is my favorite breast pump brand , so I was excited to see that they had a wearable pump that I could use while I work in the office. It was easy to assemble and put on without having to read the instructions. I did have some issues when disassembling the pump to get the milk out and clean it out. However, once I figured out how to open up each milk collector, it was easy enough to do. My favorite part was the fact that I didn’t have to spend 20 minutes or so pumping and washing the machine at one time. I simply put on the breast pump and set it to express my milk. Once I was done, I simply went back to the mothers room to put the milk in the freezer bags and rinsed out all the parts as needed. It’s such a convenient device and I’ll be using it for as long as I’m breastfeeding.

Total Game Changer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me the Medela Freestyle Hands-free Double Electric Breast Pump. It has been a total game changer…allowing me to multitask while pumping. Its discreet and compact size allows me to pump when and wherever I want to. Car line, conference calls, while cooking, doing laundry and much more.
The overall design of the pump is comfortable and lightweight. It is easy to assemble (only three parts), clean and sterilize. It fits perfectly in my nursing bra and stays in place as I move around. When done, the cups are easy to remove and there is little to no spillage.
I would highly recommend to any mother currently breastfeeding. It gives you the freedom and time you deserve with your baby.

Convenient and effective pump

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Medela Freestyle Handsfree really surprised me. I had high expectations when I heard about this pump and I feel like they lived up to them. The pump was effective at removing milk whenever I used it which was at least twice a day. I found this pump extremely easy to use and extremely easy to clean. I love the fact that the cups themselves were only three parts and connecting to the Freestyle motor was easy as well. The collection cups washed up well in the dishwasher on the top rack. I found the cups to be very discreet as they appeared unnoticeable underneath of my top. They have a natural shape to them which is nice because you don’t want them to look odd underneath of your clothes. I was able to use the Freestyle Handsfree anywhere I needed to. I used them around the house while completing various chores, while traveling in the car, and when company was over. I even pumped while I bottle fed my daughter which was really nice. I was able to go about my day and get tasks completed without even skipping a beat. I have five children with my youngest being five months old. I am an exclusive pumper and cannot afford to be tethered to a wall or have bottles dangling from the front of me, restricting my mobility, when I’m trying to get things done. My favorite feature of the pump would have to be the three piece assembly to the cups themselves. I really love that the diaphragm and the valve are one piece so it lessens the number of parts when assembling are taking apart the collection cups. I also love that the Freestyle pump itself has a digital display. The ability to view what mode you are in, how long you’ve been pumping and what vacuum level the pump is on it crucial. All of this information is also available through the Medela Family App where I can store my milk volume and other information I may need to keep track of for baby if needed. One thing I would like to see Medela do to make these even better is to make sizing inserts for their flanges and their collection cups. I measure smaller than the 21mm cups that were provided in the box. Yellow inserts would make them exclusive to Medela and would match all coordinating parts in the accessories line. Also, a longer lanyard to wear the pump around your neck or a clothing clip would be a nice option since I don’t have pockets on all of my outfits. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this breast pump. This is a spectacular innovation by Medela!
