LED buttons stopped working

I bought this a month ago and the plus and minus buttons have already stopped working. Granted I pump about 6 times a day but after a month the levels should still work. It’s frustrating when you spend this much on a pump.
Other then that the pump is great and being portable is key!

Not recommend for exclusive pumper

Received this product from my insurance. It was going strong but after the first 3 months it went out. I received a 2nd battery that also went out. I’m on my 3rd, and it is going out again. If your an exclusive pumper I don’t recommend this pump. Doesn’t have a long lifespan.
However Medela costumer service was excellent replacing the multiple batteries.

Pumping made easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this breast pump to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My first impression when I opened the box was that this hands-free pump looked very simple to use. I have tried other brands that were pretty confusing to use. I usually pump about every 4-5 hours and I typically do it while I'm at home but sometimes I have to pump at work. This pump is quiet enough to be used at work and is pretty discreet. It also fits perfectly into the nursing bras that I already have. I have also used this while driving and while my baby is napping and it is super convenient to have. My favorite feature is the 9 different suction speeds on it. I am able to adjust the speed to my liking and it is very simple to do so. I was able to get out more milk than I did with my plug in pump which was amazing. I did experience a few minor leaks with it but only when I was doing things like bending over or walking too fast. Overall I would highly recommend this pump to anyone interested.

Lightweight freedom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it was a game changer. Lightweight, easy to clean and I was no longer tethered and chained to a wall when I needed to pump. This gave me more time with my kids and the ability to multitask and do things like dishes and laundry as well as picking up the house. It was effective, though options for smaller nipples would have been nice and likely helped with my experience. It was moderately discreet as it was clear you’re wearing a pump as there are tubes and it makes you look bustier, however all pumps do that. I loved how light it was and how fast and easy it was to clean versus others I’ve used and tried. The suction was very comfortable and had several levels to adjust to. Overall I give it top ratings as it was pleasant to use and I plan on continuing to use it.

Time saver for busy moms

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this breast pump to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I will start by saying this was my first experience with a hands free pump. I had high expectations. I have three children and finding time to sit and pump has proven to be difficult. My newborn also prefers bottles so I’m exclusively pumping which takes even more time. The pump itself was easy to set up and use. However, the cups are far thicker than I was anticipating. They are about three inches thick and do not fit in my bra without stretching it out completely. I improvised and ended up wearing my Belly Bandit support band around my top half to keep the cups secured. You could probably also achieve this by wearing a snug fitting seamless cami. I didn’t find this pump to be discreet at all. Besides the thick cups, the tubing is still visible and having to change my clothes to pump is kind of annoying. The actual pump is small and convenient but you have to basically wear it around your wrist or on your body to get up and move. I found the vibrations overwhelming at first. I literally couldn’t think clearly because it was so distracting. The pumping process felt the same as other pumps to me and I was able to get the same amount of milk as I would have using a traditional pump. I also liked that they included two different sizes of cups to try. The touch screen pump was easy to use except my son kept touching it changing settings and it was really easy to bump while up and moving about. I wish it had a lock feature. I found it almost impossible to use this pump while caring for my newborn. The cups were so large, I wasn’t able to pick her up comfortably. I did successfully wash dishes, chop vegetables, and bathe my older kids while pumping, which was a time saver. Though I won’t say it was easy keeping the pump from getting wet. I was not able to get the bluetooth working to connect to my phone, not sure why. I can see the app being useful in tracking pumping times and amounts. The best thing about this pump is the small size and portability of the actual pump. I think it’s definitely useful having a hands free pump for certain situations but it didn’t end up being a silver bullet for me. I do plan to keep using it when it makes sense to do so.

Such a great hands free pump

The instructions are clear and include pictures making it super easy to set up and connect to the app.
It’s hands-free and portable so I can do just about anything and go anywhere while wearing it (even though its usually just staying home & cleaning the house). My baby always wants to be held and that isn’t a problem while wearing this pump either. I have large breasts and even so, it’s not obvious when I have them in. The actual pump is compact, about the size of a thick remote so it fits in my leggings or sweatpants pocket and it’s pretty quiet, making for a very discreet pumping session.
I love that it’s easy to clean, only 6 parts. And that it’s dishwasher safe since I mainly breastfeed, I can stick it in the dishwasher between occasional sessions. I get great output from it as well, usually around 4 oz from each breast in 15 mins.

Freedom and free time

Medela Freestyle Hands-Free Breast Pump is a game changer. It is truly hands free, so I can multi task while I pump. I can play with my baby and do some easy chores around the house. The suction is strong yet comfortable. I have other portable pumps, but they do not work for me since the suction is too weak. I also own a few wearable pumps and they also do not work well with my body as the suction is strong but painful and too uncomfortable. So I was impressed and really happy Medela freestyle is compatible with my body.
I really like the shape of collection cups. It is weirdly shaped or too bulky like other wearable pumps. They fit into my bra easily and do not make me look like having breast implants.
My favorite thing about the cups is there are only 3 parts to wash. As I exclusively pump, I am washing cups all day and night. The fewer parts to wash, the better! It really save me time and work.

Best Pump Period Mom of 3

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don’t waste your time with any other pump. This one is hands down the best pump I’ve ever used (I have 3 babies). I would compare the power of this pump to other electric pumps but with the convenience of hands free and discrete. I was able to use this pump all over the house; while doing dishes, changing laundry, bottle feeding the baby, etc without being plugged into the wall or worrying about the pump leaking when I bent over. I also was able to set up the pump at home and then pump while driving to get my kids from school. The pump pieces are easy to clean and put back together and the motor holds a long charge (I can get 3+ pumping sessions out of it). The pump cups also have a flat bottom so when I take them off I don’t have to worry about spilling any liquid gold. I would recommend this pump over and over again. Plus the days of pumping while connected to an outlet are over!!! Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this breast pump.
