Works wonderfully

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely loved this breast pump. Was very east to travel with, i was able to enjoy more outings with my little one then before. The size and the weight are perfect and light. I recived this product from the Stellar testing program in exchange for my honest review.

Powerful, Convenient, Compact Pump

This pump really is a game changer, with its small size and ability to be cord free. This allowed me to pump in so many more situations than I could before. I typically keep it in my car for when I’m in a bind - Simply throw on a pumping bra and you’re able to pump while driving, without having to worry about any cords or adaptors. I also use it when caring for my other children, since it doesn’t require that you’re connected to an electrical outlet while pumping. Great convenience. I loved that it came with a sleek black bag, two sizes of flanges, and a USB cord to charge! Just as powerful as the larger size pumps as well. The only drawback is it is slightly louder than I’d prefer. But overall, this is a great pump and I’d highly recommend.

Game Changer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pump is a game changer. It is going to be the standard all other future pumps will try to live up to. I am three kids in with a fourth on the way and I have seven years of breastfeeding under my belt. I am not a fan of pumping, at all. For the main reason of having to sit at the table or in a chair and being tied down. The Medela Freestyle Flex changes that. I am no longer tied down when pumping! The motor is hand held and charged by USB. It is completely portable. You won’t find me cleaning the tub, doing backflips or running around the block with the pump attached but I can read my kids books, do the dishes, sit on the floor and do puzzles. Yes with a standard pump you can do most of these things too but if something happens and you need to get up you have to detach yourself, turn off the pump and then take care of the situation. With the Freestyle Flex I can go from washing dishes to kissing a boo boo without losing a drop of milk or even having to stop pumping! With the USB charger I can charge while on the go. The hand held motor is small and lightweight, so I can fit it right in my purse if needed. The tubing is the same quality you expect from Medela. There is still the two-phase expression. It is a double electric so no having to swtich sides. The pump is powerful enough to extract all of my milk regardless of it’s smaller size motor. The Freestyle Flex comes with PersonalFit Flex shields that are more comfortable than the standard plastic ones. You can also connect your pump to an app on your phone to track your session and the amounts you collect. All in all I am beyond impressed with this pump and I cannot wait to see what Medela comes out with next. They’re always two steps ahead in the breastfeeding world. I received this pump as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel but the review and option are all my own.

Battery Power = Freedom!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice pump! I was lucky enough to receive this pump free of charge as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have used several breast pumps over my pumping journey and am beginning to get a sense of what I like and look for in a pump.
So many pros with this one: A huge MUST for me is being battery powered. I primarily pump in the car at work and have no ability to plug in. This is rare and an amazing thing. I also loved the compact size which made it much easier to put in any bag to transport (vs. requiring a dedicated "pump bag" in addition to work, diaper, etc.). Last but not least, it's a good pump. I got good suction and good results from it.
My one complaint, is that I wish there was an updated design to the flange/tube situation. Although the pump itself is small and discreet, you do still have to take your top off and have bulky collection bottles and tubes hanging from you. For this reason, I didn't find it easy to pump while doing other activities around the house. Overall, I like it very much!

Great portable pump!

It is so much smaller than others I have used. It is so nice that you can move around while pumping - which is key when you have other kids! I was worried about the suction since it is so small, but haven't had any issues. I love that it comes with a bag. My two others didn't, so I had to either purchase one or use a bag I had which didn't work quite as well as this one! Medela is a trusted brand and this product lives up to these expectations.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great size!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this pump for free as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This pump is a great, compact size and fits in one hand. The silicone on the flanges does allow for additional comfort while pumping and the setup is simplified with the adapters and back flow protectors being all in one. The whole set-up was compact and easy to take to work and use in the car. The automatic switch from let down mode to regular mode after 2 minutes was helpful when pumping while driving. I wish that the whole adapter was clear so I could see if milk is flowing better and the cords were a little longer, but overall this pump was great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Compact, Efficient, and Bluetooth!

I was lucky to be able to breastfeed my first son for 2 years, and am hoping to do the same this time with my now 4 month old. Part of breastfeeding success (for me) comes from being able to pump and store milk for when I need to leave the baby with someone else.

The Medela Freestyle Flex is great! Not only is it super compact but it also is really simple to assemble and use - I only had to glance over the manual. The fact that I can charge it by USB is also pretty cool - especially if traveling in Europe where I need adapters for wall plugs. It’s also dual voltage!

As a stay at home mom, I have a lot of freedom to pump but I can do a lot more by multitasking. I can literally put this pump in my back pocket and brush my teeth, vacuum, change the baby...If I were back to work, the Flex would be awesome, since it’s such a compact item to tote around, and it has a super long battery life. Also - this pump has Bluetooth capability so you can connect and track your sessions on an app. A breast pump...with Bluetooth. Wow!

Cons: I have had some trouble connecting with the app, but it could be a problem with my home’s WiFi. The app is just an extra perk anyway...
Otherwise, I haven’t found anything else.

Easiest compact pump!

As a mom of 2, we are always on the go. I also work part time where I have to pump. This pump is so easy to throw in my purse or diaper bag to take out of the house. I never have to worry about it being charged because it holds a charge for a long time. Even if the battery gets low, the charger is so easy to plug into a USB plug. I also love that the parts to the pump are minimal. It makes washing the parts much more bearable. I previously used a chargeable pump, but it was much bigger and difficult to travel with due to the size. It also had more parts to wash. My only complaint with this pump is that the touch screen is sensitive to touch. I wish there was a way to lock the screen so I don’t accidentally change my setting or pause it. Overall I have really loved this pump and it’s flexibility!
