Amazing if you know a couple of tricks

I've had one of these for two years. We get lots of snow and deep cold (-40F and C). It works great and clears our big driveway, sidewalks and more on a single charge. It's a bit "rattly" because of the design of the chute (which needs some sort of slippery gasket between the moving parts to prevent the rattle). But it handles up to a foot or more of our snow and can throw a long ways. The ease of turning the chute (electrically from the control panel) is wonderful--I can direct the snow wherever I want as I'm walking. The unit is also light enough for me (a senior male) to pick up and carry a ways. Two problems: below -25 C (about -10F) lithium batteries (including this one) become "stuttery" --you might want to put a non-electric "hot pocket" (not too hot!) on the battery to keep it warm if you're clearing snow in deep cold. Or you could buy the extra battery (very expensive!) and keep one of them warm while the other is working. Also some cold tolerant lubricant on the blades and moving parts helps reduce friction in cold weather. Finally, if the snowblower just stops and won't start (happened to me) it may need a reboot--so hold down the triangular button for 15-20 seconds before lifting the arm to start it, and that will reboot the electronics. That worked for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The snowblower worked well in 2 inches of fresh fallen snow. It was not hard to push and I did not have to struggle to maneuver it.
The pros....did what it had to do; pretty powerful machine yet very quiet; lightweight. The cons....the auger would occasionally stick and you would require to manipulate it back into position; too small for my driveway.

This is a powerful machine. First huge storm and this thing just plowed right through a foot of snow - no problem. The battery is supposed to last 30 minutes but the instructions say 6.5 to 13 minutes(?). No matter. This machine is self-propelled and clears very quickly - the lowest auger setting is plenty. I bought a (very expensive) second battery - worth it. The machine holds both batteries at the same time; but one battery will fully power this from either battery compartment. Was able to clear entire large driveway and walkway in one charge. Went over again with second battery. Going out now to clear more snow. Let's see how it with an overnight snowfall...

Really liked the ease of putting together, batteries came on the 3 day because they had to ship seperate. Bought an extra battery both took a full charge and put in the machine. Waiting for snow to see how easy it is to operate, handle folds forward to conserve space.

I haven't had a chance to use the snow blower yet, however, it took 3 minutes to set up & I can say that the ease of operation is outstanding. Every option on this unit is battery operated to include; LED headlights, snow thrower direction shoot, and the auger speed. So far I am 100% satisfied. I can't wait til it snows so I can use it! Capability review to follow, once it snows here in Michigan.
