Good when it works

I started using this strap and it took me a while to realize that it didn't work. The reason was probably the fact that I had the cable of the battery plugged into the Soundcore headphones dongle. Once I removed the dongle and connected my headphones using Bluetooth instead, the battery started working. I haven't had any issues with the batter since then. It makes a huge difference! While before it started working I would often run out of batter during play sessions, now I never have this issue. It provides enough extra battery that it had me covered through all my game sessions so far. This is mostly because I almost never play a VR game for more than 4 hours. It's hard since there is some discomfort involved with playing VR games.
Overall, I would recommend this device, but be careful because I have heard of other people having issues with it not working. I think they even stopped selling it for a while.

External Battery Doesn't work

The battery is not recognized by the quest for more than 2 seconds. When it is plugged it, it will briefly be recognized before defaulting back to the normal battery. Also when charging, the device doesn't charge the main quest battery.

Got the first batch that didn't work

Like thousands of others, this didn't work after the first charge or too. Otherwise, it did balance the headset nicely and felt pretty comfortable.

I love the quest 3 and it’s extinction! This headset really brings me into a whole new world it’s sooooo much better than the quest 2!
