Battery does not work all the time

The fit of this unit is great. It balances out the headset well but the problem is that the battery will either not charge at all or indicate it is charged while not providing power to the headset. There are random moments when it will show that it is charging the headset while in use, but then it will stop. Because the issue is changing almost every time I use it, i cannot determine just what exactly is going on with it.
I understand there are notices out there that say the parent company is working on this issue, but wish more was put out as to faulty unit replacements to us that already bought this item.

Expensive but worth it

Little on the expensive side but can play for a few hours with this and you'll hardly notice it's there. Though if you get the carrying case you'll have to readjust it every time unless you have a small head.

Play Walkabout Mini Golf and Golf+. Lots of fun on Walkabout. Very challenging non-terrestrial courses!
Golf+ let’s you feel like a Pro hitting 350 yard drive, but for the life of me I can’t hit a decent short iron, especially the Lob Wedge! It goes left of my intended line. Why???

Great way to extend playtime and very well balance

Purchased a Quest 3 with the battery extender after owning a Quest 1 for multiple years. Battery life was always an issue with the old headset so when I upgraded to Quest 3 I got this extender in the package. One of the best add ons I've ever purchased. Lasts around 4 hours solid game time more/less. Very well balanced and the adjustment knob is super easy to use and put on.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Absolutely worst product. This "elite" headstrap with battery pack may be more comfortable on your head than what the Quest 3 comes with, but the battery pack does not work IN ANY CAPACITY. The first one I ordered I thought was defective because it never got to a green light, didn't charge at all, and did not in any way extend the life of the quest 3. So, I ordered another one. Exact same thing. Everyone I have spoken with that bought this has stated the same thing. Definitely do not spend money on this battery pack. It's a total joke. Meta knows it is defective and continues to keep it on the market,

Better than nothing

I bought the elite head strap with battery. The head strap is comfortable and more adjustable than the included one. The battery life is no where near as good as I would have expected for the price. I could have bought a Annapro elite head strap with battery for half the price and would have had double to triple the battery life.
