I started with a Rift. When I got a Quest 2, I was so happy to be untethered.
The Quest 3 is a great upgrade from the Quest 2. The graphics are better, and with the passthrough, it's easier to put on because I can see my controllers.
I can't wait for more mixed reality games. So much fun!

Do not buy

Been fine for 32 days and now will not charge at all. Even while elite strap is plugged into power, headset registers it for about 5 second's then goes away.

Balancing the headset in addition to the battery

My only problem is it is adding more weight. I would love to have lighter headset. Lighter the better.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY

This was not worth the money. I was extremely upset with the extended battery. It never shows the correct amount of battery available on the VR goggles or the app. After charging one time it got so hot it started to turn brown on the white casing. It does provide a better head strap and that was nice. But I have learned my lesson and will wait a few extra days after a product is out to just buy the off-brand as this was a big waste of my money.

Decent strap

I like this style of strap better and find the halo style SUPREMELY uncomfortable. I have an elite strap for my quest 2 and it has been great since release so I figured I would get similar for my quest 3. The only major issue is the pricing. its just soo high. I like the slightly updated design vs the one on the quest 2 as well. Hope to get a decent facial interface soon as the stock one is not comfortable.

Very comfortable and adds a decent amount of play time, however when charging the extended battery it causes the q3 light on the side of the headset to get stuck on even after the charger is unplugged from the wall. The only way to get the light to shut off is to disconnect the extended battery from the headset. Not a big deal but a little odd. Same story with the q2.

Fits easy, battery lasts a good time, elite strap design is a more comfortable fit imo, it wasn't heavy for what it was but the added weight was an issue for me and I returned it because it made the system too heavy and I would get headaches.
