[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with the FoodCycler. I have recently started composting and this has been so much help! The size is perfect and fits right on my kitchen counter making it convenient for my whole family to use. I am so excited to use this product and really up my compost game.

I love that my trash can doesn’t smell while I wait for the next pick up. I compost every other day and it doesn’t smell in the provided canister while I wait to compost and doesn’t smell after I compost. I also didn’t realize how much food waste I create daily. It turns everything into a dirt like powder that smells a little nutty (even with meats).
It’s also very simple to use. Just load and press the button. I usually do it at night as it takes several hours. In the morning I dump it out and start anew.

I love this product! My husband and I would end of throwing away so much food because we could only eat so much. I would feel guilty throwing it away and adding more waste to the landfills. Now I mix the recycled product into my potting soil. I keep it in my kitchen. There is no smell because of the filter. Best purchase I made in a long time. Worth the money!

Vitamix does an awesome job of converting kitchen waste into a precompost state. I just add this material to a bin with earth worms and sprinkle some water. Rich usable compost is ready in a week or two.
If you add orange peels or avacado skin, make sure they are cut into some medium sized waste as in couple of inches long.
It always helps to add some dry brown material like coco peat or leaves to ensure that the output is powdery and airy.
Finally, the unit is much much quieter as compared to Lomi ( I have one of those as well ).
