[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little intimated by this machine at first, however was excited to make my own compost. At first I didn’t think it would hold as much scraps, I was quite surprised and not only the amount, but they types of scrapes I could throw in. I have used a few times now and it can’t be any easier, from taking out of the box and setting up to the first use. I store mine in my garage because I thought it would emit orders, but it has 0 scents coming fine it. I can’t wait to continue to make compost for my plants and flowers. Very happy and surprised with how easy it was to use.

Garden Waste to Enriched Soil

I've owned this machine for over a month and use it daily as I have a friend that is a cook and saves me all their egg shells and coffee grounds and along with my household waste I'm creating a lot of enriched soil. I have a large garden and placing around all my plants and their growing like never before. I don't like this machine I love it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. What can I say about this Vitamix - FoodCycler Eco 5. This thing is awesome. I love that I can put almost anything in it. It's big enough to hold quite a bit. I also like that all the food scraps turn into powder.

Quiet and Powerful Machine

Our food cycler makes good compost and is quiet while making it. We put the compost in our garden...our fruit trees are gorgeous, and our garden is luscious. In addition to mixing food scraps, we combine coffee grounds and dried leaves from outside. I highly recommend it to those who garden in their homes!

Yes, you really can turn a pail filled with nutrient-dense scraps into handfuls of nutrient-dense compost overnight. I’ve run about six batches now and every time I am still amazed at the results. A typical pail for me will have egg shells, tea bags, avocado skin and pit, potato peels, zucchini ends, inside of bell pepper, chopped banana peels, and any other misc veggies and fruits that have gone bad. I feel SO much better getting great use out of these scraps vs sending them to a garbage dump.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first compost and I am thrilled. I love how this is so easy to use. The bucket comes with a lid to put on the countertop is perfect. I can throw away all the food scrapes in and put the lid on so it won't start to smell in the kitchen. The foodcycler did a good job container the smell of the food scrapes. The equipment is easy to clean. With just hours, I get some nice fertilized soil.

It’s definitely large and requires sufficient counter space, but I can tell already that it’s a high quality and long lasting product. It comes packaged well and with a lot of instructions on how to use it, so it’s pretty simple to understand. I feel excited knowing I’m reducing and reusing and helping the earth!
