First dryer I ever purchased!

Being it was the first dryer I ever purchased it says a lot about the value in it and features that I needed. The dryer has been working great for my needs so far!
The only thing I can say bad about it is that the lint vent area kind of lets a lot of lint through the screen and into the line. I'm not sure if this is normal with the amount I see passing through.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stylish and great features

This is our first dryer for our first home and we're very happy with it. The moisture sensor is great - it senses when the items are dry before the pre-estimated time frame so it just stops instead of overdoing your clothes. The steamer is also very convenient. Large capacity. It has a pleasant ding at the end when your clothes are done. The timer does tend to underestimate some times so that's a bummer. It has a stylish look so my wife is happy. Overall we're very satisfied.

Overall good, but a few concerns

The printing above the display window and around the three buttons below it is disappearing!
I should be able to add time if the clothing is not dry after cycle is completed without having to start a new cycle for just a few minutes.
When I set manual time dry, the temperature automatically sets to HOT and will not let me change it.

Still have not had a chance to use all of the features and options, but I am very impressed with this machine. I purchased this dryer to replace an old standard dryer and to complement my LG steam washer (which I love, also). I wish my old dryer had gone out sooner because this dryer saves so much time. I do not have to "fluff" clothes any more with a wet rag (creates steam) to get wrinkles out if they were not removed right away. I just use the wrinkle care option. LOVE IT, need I say more?

Ouiet Cloths Washer

I have been using the washer for 21 months with no problems. It is very stable when operating. Almost no vibration. The cloths come out cleaner than they did with the Maytag top loader i had previously. The connection hoses are of good quality rubber. I have been very pleased with the washer.

Worked great for 13 months

The dryer worked great and is one of the best functioning dryers we've had. However, the dryer stopped working just after the warranty was over (at 13 months) and there is no way to get support. In addition, there isnt a licensed LG repair tech nearby.
The upside is that the dryer is fairly easy to work on, using the manuals found at repairclinic.com and I've ordered parts for it (I'm hoping it is just the thermostats) and I will try to repair it myself...
