Great features, performance

The dryer is very efficient in that it dries clothes quickly to the level of dryness you select via the automatic settings or manual modification of same. My favorite feature is the steam feature that does not require a separate water line. Instead there is a fillable reservoir compartment that uses tap water. It's a little pricey as are most quality gas dryers, but the features and quality make it worth the money, particularly if this one lasts as long as my last one (10 years).
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Love the Steam Feature

When my old gas dryer started sounding like a truck, I knew it was time to get a new one. I had done a lot of research prior to buying this one but I have to admit the color didn't hurt -- I wanted red. The dryer didn't disappoint. It dries quickly and quietly. The steam feature works well to remove wrinkles and the drying rack is a plus. I would recommend this dryer.
My family moved to a new home and needed to purchase a new washer/dryer set. The local applicance store was having a great year-end sale, so I purchased the WM2650HWA and the DLGX2651W. This review is for the dryer. (Please see my review for the washer on the washer product page.)
I'm very satisfied with this dryer. It takes a very short time to dry, cutting down my utilities cost. Even with really large loads, it does a fantastic job. Mine is a family of six, so that's a lot of towels, bed sheets, etc. The dryer handles every load without problems. I've never had anything come out damp.
I haven't tried the steam option for permanent press, but I'm looking forward to using it soon.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

First I bought the dryer. I bought it because it was red. It is so beautiful and is smarter than I am. My appliances were very old. My new dryer alerted me that my dryer vent needed to be clean. The repair man told me LG kept me from having a fire. People would come over and I would say, "Let me show you something prettier than a new red Corvette". "See my RED dryer. Then I bought the washer. The technology is awesome. They are quiet, do a wonderful job cleaning the clothes and sings when it is finished. And I just love the RED, no Corvette for me. I have LG!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, they are red!

I had to wait awhile for my dryer, as it was shipped directly from the factory, but man was it worth the wait. I love doing my laundry now. This dryer is so quiet and fast. I love being able to get wrinkles out of slacks in a hurry while dressing for work. Just so many great features and such large capacity. I was able to steam my husbands king size pillow the other day and it smells so fresh now. This is one of the best buys of our married life, 35 years, as well as the LG washer. So happy!!!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, quiet

I had an LG washer and dryer in my old home before I sold it. The new home had a washer and dryer that were so inferior, I dreaded laundry day. I appreciate being able to do larger loads and the stackability in my small space is a bonus. It is my own fault...but when stacking, it is difficult to read the controls because they are rather high up. That is the only complaint I have. But stacking these larger units makes it inevitable. Just have a small milk crate handy and you will have no problems.
