Poorly engineered brewing basket. Thin lifting strap is held in place by a very tiny piece of plastic that inserts in a hole in the basket. One end partially melted on Day 2. Now must remove grew basket manually.

Wonderful coffee maker except that the hot plate erodes within a couple of months and it drops even after the carafe is removed
