Error E5 on first use

I received the coffee maker for Christmas last week. After 1st scheduled brew the coffee maker hot plate does not work and the display shows an E5 error. Not a good experience.

We recommend resetting your coffeemaker by disconnecting power from the unit for 2 - 3 minutes and reconnecting power. If this reset does not revert the unit back to normal operating function and eliminate the error code, you will need to take advantage of your limited warranty. You can view your warranty details on page 11 of the Owner's Manual at the link below.

Beautiful Stainless Coffee Maker, Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful stainless Coffee Maker with many great features. You will be happy to display on your counter top with its neat, clean, stainless design and blue LED light displays. Auto brew is a great feature allowing you to have your coffee ready to start your busy day. Wake up to your favorite coffee flavor aroma to start your day off. You can adjust the brew strength. I prefer bold to get the most out of my coffee. No worries if you happen to forget to shut off the coffee before leaving the house because it has auto shut off. You can also program the warming plate to stay warm for up to 4 hours. Great if another person gets up later or for days at home. No need to re-warm your coffee multiple times. You can also adjust the temperature plate you prefer your coffee to be. Hot when you want to take it to go or less hot if you'll be enjoying at home. This is a 12 cup coffee maker but it can be programed to brew just a cup or 2 also. It has an automatic descale reminder and a specific feature to descale your coffee pot so you'll always have optimal flavor coffee. It has an easy pour spout to minimize spills. I would recommend this coffee maker because it will look beautiful on your cupboards and it makes delicious coffee. Lots of nice features too.

Makes a great cup of coffee!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker makes a great cup of coffee! I like the option of the reusable filter if you don’t want to use disposable. I have made coffee both with and without a disposable filter and both ways work perfectly. The coffee comes out nice and bold even without using the bold brew cycle. I appreciate the automatic turn off function for days I forget to turn it off before leaving the house. The warming plate keeps my coffee a nice temperature if I’m not ready to pour my cup immediately after brewing. There is a descaling or cleaning mode that alerts you every 80 cycles to clean the coffee maker. I haven’t hit 80 cycles yet but I appreciate the reminder to keep the appliance clean. If you like your coffee bold, there is a bold brew cycle. I love that you can set a delay start for days you want to wake up to the smell of coffee! What could be better than walking into the kitchen with a pot of coffee ready to drink. This is a great machine that I look forward to using for years to come.

I love the look of it…it actually goes well with my kitchen.The carafe is nice and heavy and love that it has temp control for hot plate and setting for bold coffee. It’s just amazing and I’m lovin it!!

Unexpected upgrade!

I bought this primarily for the look but have been surprised by the extra niceties that this coffee maker provides. Love that it comes with a reusable filter - no more buying single-use filters! Love the carafe - the top screws into place so you don't need to hold it while pouring. It also doesn't leak all over the counter like our last few carafes did. The maker itself is easy to use and has the necessary features without all the "cluttering" bells and whistles.

Fire hazard

Caught on fire while just being plugged into the wall. Thank God we were home otherwise we would’ve had a kitchen fire. I only had it for 18 months and I do not recommend

Perfect birthday gift

Ordered this coffee pot, had it shipped to my dad for his 69th birthday. He is retired and drinks coffee like it's his full-time job. He told me that he couldn't be happier because his current coffee pot might not make it to the new year. He thinks this will be perfect after his old one dies. Says he's "just tickled pink about it."
I personally haven't even seen this pot. I don't drink coffee, but like I said, my dad loves it.
I found this one in the YouTube video posted by "Project Farm". Highly recommend searching up that video
