[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ooni pizza oven 12G. Makes you pizza taste like a pro. Only setback is it takes more than 15 minutes to heat up. "460 degrees" easy takes up to 30 minutes till 40 minutes. Tried with wood and gas. Same times if you keep on adding wood. If someone has some tips for me how to speed up the time and heat. I'm all ears. Haven't managed to get it to 500 degrees yet.

Restaurant quality pizzas every time

Why didn’t I get one of these sooner!!
I used to try making homemade pizzas in the oven! They were ok but then I took the plunge and bought an Ooni.
Now my pizzas are restaurant quality! The results are amazing every time.
I also took the decision to buy the gas adapter. Whilst wood is marginally better, I’d highly recommend getting the gas adapter as it makes life much easier if you’re making a lot of pizzas for friends etc.
Really happy with my purchase.

Excellent purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is excellent, better than I was expecting and very easy to use. The first few will probably come out a bit burnt, until you get a feel for how often to turn them. As well as the pizza peel, would definitely recommend buying a turning peel, to help get an even cook.
Glad I went for the wood fuel version, as you definitely get the smoke-cooked effect. I bought the gas burner attachment, but wish I hadn’t bothered, as doubt I’ll use it that much.

Very happy with wood burning oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the wood burning oven for use at our off-the-grid cabin. It worked great from our first try. We figured we could add the propane attachment if needed, but it is not needed. Once oven is heated (takes 20 minutes), the pizzas cook in 60-90 seconds however we do need to rotate them several times during baking or the crust on the fire side will burn before the other side is cooked. It’s easy!! I bought prepaid dough from our fancy grocery store the first few times but now use the Ooni recipe and that is easy too and the dough consistency is better. The pizzas taste great!

The oven maybe okay but

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oven maybe okay but difficult to regulate the temperature so pizza normally burns rather than cook or the flame goes out and doesn't cook. The biggest problem is getting the dough into the pizza base - impossible so far ending in a mess especially all over the oven.

Was originally hesitant to buy due to the price however after owning it now for over 2 months, can say that we’re very happy we got one! We use it so much and makes better pizza than you can buy from any takeaway. A MUST if you love pizza.
Tip; use plenty of semolina on the base
