Scratched, moldy, upon arrival, no replacement sent. Fit and finish is yet to be desired, chimney is very loose and poor fitting.

1st time user of Ooni Karu 12G Multi Fuel Pizza Oven

Used this for the very 1st time Father's Day. Was very impressed. Did a lot of research on the use of this oven. Pizza turned out fantastic. Loved how easy it was to set up. Used charcoal & wood for 1st time. Heated up very fast. Baked very fast and the cool down took maybe about an hour or so. Was very impressed by everything & will be doing a lot more pizzas at home rather than doing take out. Looking forward to our next pizza. Definitely a 5 star pizza oven in our opinion.

The first day our pizza looked like a brickette. Very well done but still eatable, surprisingly. Our second one was a bit under done and went back in while the oven was off but still hot. Very good. The third one was perfect. Peppers, onions, sausage on a margherita base. Wonderful! We can’t wait to try another.

Impossible to heat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this ooni Karu 12g and waited many months for it to arrive.
I have followed every instruction in detail. I have spent a small fortune on extras such as laser thermometers, the best kiln dried wood, but I can not get anywhere near the heat required and can not get anywhere near trying to maintain even that heat for more than one pizza. Very disappointed I expected big things from ooni. Would send it back if I could.

Having used a friend’s previous Karu 12 and loved it, the improvements on the 12G were worth the wait of 3 months from ordering. Really like the built-in thermometer and having the door on the front, rather than the removable one once the old model makes things easier. Only thing we would change would be some sort of mesh guard between the fuel and the cooking space - it is quite easy to have burning wood fall through when adding fuel and have to poke it out from the front. Wonderful pizzas though!

Another wonderful and very impressive Ooni product! I took the plunge with a helpful 'nudge' from the Fab Folks at Ooni and upgraded from an Ooni Fyra to the Karu12G multi fuel oven.
It was a great decision - the Fyra is fabulous but the Karu 12G really does open things up to anther level in being able to use charcoal and wood rather than just the wood pellets! After seasoning the Ooni, it was good to go....AND cooked 8 very delicious pizzas almost one after the other! I have never cooked that number of pizzas in one go...there were no issues at all. It really is an easy oven to use, especially with the door being hinged. I love it.
